Let's get us a sword Part 1

Theo was crouched down behind the bush, waiting for the horned rabbit to come closer towards his direction. He took out his sword and threw it like a spear at the rabbit.

The rabbit got impaled in place without even having the time to react, Theo then emerged from the bushes in a furred outfit and started butchering the rabbit skillfully, and using clean at the sword, making sure that he doesn't get a stomach ache.

It's been a week since Theo got back from Neutrum and his back in Ignatius, The Capital of Virtus.

"Being Theo is such a breeze" Theo Commented to himself.

Theo as soon as he Awakened his class started hunting at a young age and was privately taught by a trusted adventurer with a master tier holy knight accompanying them.

Theo would then hunt while, accompanied by a Master tier individual of course, weekly.

Now he persuaded his father to leave him and let only Bennet accompany him who was at the peak of Expert tier to go hunting, hence why they were in the mountains, north of the capital.

Well That's not the only reason why I'm going up north to hunt. I really need that sword like in the original and to beat a certain dungeon as well.

Theo was thinking as he started making a fire with only the use of flint and steel. He learned this skill, thinking that it might be useful when his mana runs out or is restricted.

After a few minutes of attempting to make a fire, Theo finally ignited his tinder and started covering it with dead leaves.

"Phewwww..... Phewww...." Theo blew on the the leaves to make the fire larger

Theo then threw a couple of twigs on top of the burning leaves and then took a couple of logs he picked up on the way into the fire, making himself a campfire.

The sun was about to set after all, so they needed to set up camp and prepare to sleep. They've just started traveling today, but they started that morning so they were mentally tired.

"I could have done this for you Young master" Bennet said with a frown on his face, disappointed that he was letting his master serve him

"Don't worry about it, Think of it as my training" Theo said as he took out wooden skewers from his storage ring.

Chuck*

Theo skewered the butchered rabbit and pierced the non pointy tip of the skewer on the ground, cooking it without needing to hold the rabbit.

Don't worry bennet this is also because I'm ditching you later.

Theo already had a concrete plan on how he's going to ditch Bennet so he can go in 'that' place. It wasn't an elaborate plan anyways so he didn't need to do much, but it'll easily get rid of Bennet when he goes into 'that' place.

After twenty or so minutes, the food was ready.

"Here have a bite, tell me if it's passable" Theo said as he passed the rabbit skewer to Bennet

"I am extremely grateful, Young master....!"

Bennet reluctantly receives it and takes one bite

"Delicious!" Bennet said with sparkling eyes

"Hehehe, I placed gave it some spices i got on the way, I gotta write that down" Theo said as he wrote something on his memo pad

Selene's going to love this.

Shing!* Shing!*

Thud

"Are these guys really intermediate tier?" Theo said as he took the wolf corpses inside his storage ring.

Selene was way more aggressive and stronger than this....

Bennet was only there to observe him and guard him from any potential danger that might target Theo. He was also surprised at how strong his young master has gotten, comparing his talent to the best of the best in his generation.

He is as talented as his sister- wait no. The young master seems more talented than his sister.

Bennet thought as he watched his master walking further up through the snowy terrain. He wondered what his master possibly wanted in the snowy mountain, though his master did say that he wanted to improve his endurance with colder climates, but Bennet couldn't help but feel like something was amiss. 

"Bennet, come on!" Theo said beckoning the still Bennet

Bennet snapped out of his trance and hurriedly followed Theo

"A-apologize master, I was in deep thought that I didn-!"

"It's fine, just don't get too deep, we're in the middle of the mountains, I can't have my bodyguard get jumped on by some random monster" Theo said with a smile on his face

Bennet, knowing his master was jesting, smiled at his reply.

"Hahaha, Of course young master"

Two hours Later, afternoon

"Look a cave for us to spend the night in" Theo 

Theo and Bennet entered a barren dark cave in the middle of a snow storm that just randomly occurred half an half hour ago. They weren't particularly bothered by the cold, but going through a snowstorm could potentially endanger them if they somehow stumble upon Yetis that were Astute tier monsters that roam in groups

"Bennet you make the fire this time" Theo said he sat down farther back from the entrance of the cave.

"Yes, Young master" 

Bennet started to make a fire in the traditional way.

Theo, knowing that he trusted him to not do anything stupid only focused on making the fire and guarding against anything that might pop up from the blizzard.

Theo stealthy slipped inside deeper in the cave, he trudged slowly and steadily until he heard someone call out his name.

"Young master!? Where are you!? A paper?" Bennet, alarmed that his master was missing.

Theo dropped a piece of paper where he wrote a two page letter about random stuff and a small paragraph saying 'I'll be fine and be back the next day'. 

Theo then bolted through the dark cave, with his light spell and arrived in front of two golden doors, which he pushed and abruptly closed behind him, preventing anything else from entering, then disappearing. 

"That went as planned." Theo said proudly to himself.

"Now. The sword" Theo glanced at the room

The room was barren and decrepit. Only a sword stuck on a rock, gray and colorless but uniquely shaped, like a sword straight out of a hero fantasy.

Theo knew what to do, so he approached the sword and gripped its hilt and fainted.

Theo woke up in an endless blank white space. Another person was standing farther away from him with the same height, same complexion, same physique and almost similar aura. THe only difference was the monotonous expression it was donning

"Now then-!" 

Theo sprang towards the other person with blade in hand

Whoooosh!

TING!*

And swung at the person, who was a complete copy of himself

"- Let's fight myself!" Theo grinning.
