Chapter 18

Cole stared at the small gift box on his hand he looked at colina who was arranging books in her bag from her locker, he had a second thought about giving the gift to her but he summoned courage and walked up to her

"Hey Lina.." he said without realizing

"Since when did you start to call me Lina?" She asked him

"That's what I call you in my head...anyways I got you something" he pointed out the gift box

" What is it?" She took the box from him with a smile

"Open it" Colina slowly unwrapped the box, it was an office pen that was rare to find and really expensive

"Cole no way... how in the world did you get this?!" She said feeling excited

"It was no biggie with the kind of connection I have in the school" he tried to brag

"It's beautiful I love it...thank you so much..but why are you giving me this?"

"You know... just because"

"Do you really expect me to believe that...you don't want anything in return?"

"Nope....I have a class to get to" he tried to walk away

"Cole wait!!... would you like to hangout later on... just me and you?" She asked nervously

"I would love too" he smirked and walked away.

Anna walked up to Andrew who was sitting on a motor bike

"This is yours?" She smiled

"Yup... wanna go for a ride?" He handed her an helmet, Anna put it on and sat behind him "hold on tight" he said as he was about to start the bike, he drove on high speed on an empty road, the sound of the bike fruuum!! Fruuum!! Every now and then was pleasing to hear, Anna heald onto him smiling brightly as the breeze kept kissing her face and her hair kept blowing around. After a long ride the bike finally stopped, they both walked down to the river side it was almost sun set

"What are we doing here?" Anna asked

"I come here all the time...the sun set around this time it's always beautiful" they both sat on the grass and watched the sun

"Why do you come here all the time?"

"Sometimes I need a break from a lot of things..so I come here"

"It's beautiful...the sun set"

The evening sun hiding behind the trees as it was slowly disappearing while it's shadow made the color of the water orange and bright..it was mesmerizing

"Yeah....are you the only child?" Andrew asked

"Yes"

"Well I have two sisters...one is in middle school and the other is still in kindergarten....the one in middle school has asmar it gets bad sometimes..and the other one kira she's five and cute, I love them both" he said starring at the river

"And am sure they love you too...you must be the best big brother in the world...what about your parents"

"My parents and I aren't close at all...they're both just... honestly I do get jealous of Allen sometimes the way his mom is with him... it's obvious she loves him a lot"

"Am sure your mom loves you too... everyone has different ways of showing their emotions...I wasn't always close with my mom, our closeness got stronger after my dad died, I was closest with my dad...but I knew my mom loved me she did...I just preferred my dad....so am sure your parents likes you a lot maybe you're the one who doesn't see their efforts"

"Maybe....Anna your brown eyes are shining"

"It's weird right...I got them from my dad... it's shines under the evening sun"

"It's beautiful...you're beautiful" he glanced at her lips and tried to move close to it

"Andrew I...you can't kiss me....I like someone else"

"Is it Allen?.... it's cool his a good guy...but there's no rules that says friends can't kiss each other right?"

"Andrew!!"

"Just kidding" they both smiled ".....the sun is almost down" he laid his back on the grass

"Should we head back?" Anna asked laying on the grass as well

"If you want to"

"I don't want to yet" she closed her eyes and enjoyed the evening breeze
