25. In Another World

In the deserted alley, the figures of three people emerged from the void. One of them looked like a tree trunk, another one was wearing a mask, and the last one was a young man with slightly spiky brown hair. They are Warrod, Kakashi, and Kazuma.

"I'm baaaaaaaack" Kazuma cried.

"So, this is Japan? Why did you cry? This is not your world, isn't it?" Warrod said while looking at Kazuma. This was his first time seeing those high-sky buildings in the modern world. He was so amazed that ordinary people could even make something like those without any power like magic or anything like that. Meanwhile, Kakashi just looked around with a lazy expression like he didn't care about his surroundings.

"Of course, this is not my world. But, it is still Japan. Japan in a modern world. There must be a game console, manga, novels, anime, etc. But I don't have money." Kazuma said dejectedly.

Meanwhile in another multiverse.

"Uwah, I got a house plus a workshop. Is this because I got privileges as a researcher?" Tabane talked by herself at the place not far away from the academy. And apparently, no one lived around the place where Tabane was. "It seems I need to get cooperation from the academy if I want to take action. Well, I don't mind if I can't. Hehehe." Then, she went toward the academy.

Another multiverse.

A girl with a goth dress walked to the shrine. She was none other than Kuroneko with her Queen of Nightmare cosplay. The inside of the shrine was misty and had a heavy atmosphere.

4 unsheathed swords were standing up in a huge stone. Delicate ancient runes were engraved on the flat of the blade, radiating different dims of light. Each sword had a different light color, Green, White, Red, and Blue. All of them were sealed spirits. The colors seemed to represent the four sacred beasts namely Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermillion Bird, and Black Tortoise as seen on the huge stone tablet.

Kuroneko thought for a while. She had fire and lightning elements in the chakra, so her chosen sword should be between the green one and the red one. But, why should she bother to match the sword she chose with her chakra elements? From the moment she saw the swords, she felt that each sword would assist her in using an element that did not match her affinity.

In the end, she decided to choose the Azure Dragon sword which had the elements of lightning and wind.

Breathing deeply, Kuroneko started to chant a fluent incantation for a contract ritual.

"Oh Noble Spirit Sealed in Ancient Holy Sword

Thou Shall Accept Me as Thy Master and I Shall Be Thy Sheath"

While she was chanting, a gust of wind swept to swirl inside the shrine.

"Thrice I Command Thee

Exchange Vows With Me!"

*clink*

Instantly, the spirit sword radiated with a pale green light when she brandished the sword.

An emblem of the sword with a dragon pattern was engraved on the back of her right hand. It was proof of the contract spirit.

Meanwhile in another multiverse.

In the middle of the vast blue sea, there are two people on a little boat sailing aimlessly. One of them was a green-haired muscular man of average height with lightly tanned skin. He carried three swords bundled up with a green Haramaki over his right hip. Another one was a slim boy with a muscular build. He wore blue shorts with cuffs, sandals, and a sleeveless red vest. He also wore a straw hat on his head.

"Oi Luffy, where are we going?" The green-haired man asked the boy. It seemed that the boy's name was Luffy.

"Don't know, the important thing is to go forward!" Luffy answered casually with his grinning from ear to ear. He seemed didn't care where he went. After a moment, He looked at the green-haired man.

"Do you know where we are, Zoro?"

The green-haired man named Zoro twitched.

"How should I know? Do you want to be a pirate but don't know how to navigate? How have you been sailing all this time?"

"I'm just going with the wind."

"This damn guy, how could this fool become a captain?" Zoro facepalmed. He felt that he had mistakenly joined a pirate crew with a captain like Luffy.

"Aaaaaaaaah, fuck this teleportation system."

Suddenly they heard a scream. They look around and...

"Luffy, look!" Zoro pointed at the sky. Luffy looked in the direction Zoro was pointing.

"Someone fell from the sky!"

A few moments ago.

Izumi looked at the time before the mission started. He was ready to be teleported into the One Piece world. But what he didn't expect was that he got teleported into the sky. Yup, it was the sky, and it was also in the middle of the sea. He wanted to use his magic or Ninjutsu. However, he couldn't concentrate at all due to his panic.

"Aaaaaaah, fuck you."

"Fuck fuck fuck fuck"

"Aaaaaaaaah, fuck teleportation system"

Because the distance he plunged from the sky was so high, he fell into the sea at a depth of more than 100 meters below sea level. With all his might, he swam to the surface.

"I decided. He must join our crew."

Two of them were amazed when Izumi did that. While Izumi glanced at the two of them.

"Oh, the main characters in this world, huh?" He said inwardly without changing his expression.

Their little boat approached him.

"Do you mind if I ask you for a ride?"

"Sure!"

"Oi!"

Luffy agreed immediately. But Zoro seemed to be guarding against Izumi.

Suddenly he disappeared and appeared in their little boat.

Zoro was surprised by Izumi until he pulled out his Katana from its scabbard.

"I couldn't see his movements. He is way too fast." Zoro thought inwardly.

Luffy's eyes shone brightly.

"Woah, you're so fast? How did you do that? And how can you stand on water? Can you teach me!??"

"That's called Ninjutsu. A ninja's technique." Izumi said while performing a fake hand seal.

"Ninja?"

Luffy and Zoro exclaimed in surprise. It was their first time seeing a ninja in person.

"Wow. So cool. In that case, be our friend!"

"Oi, Luffy!!"

When Luffy invited Izumi, Zoro wanted to stop him.

"What?"

"Nothing. Up to you!"

Zoro sighed. It seemed there was no point in him stopping Luffy. If Luffy has acted, then Zoro can only let him. That's how Luffy is.

Meanwhile, Izumi pretended to ask.

"Your friend?"

"Yeah. We're pirates. And we're looking for friends for our pirate crew."

Izumi held his chin and asked again.

"What do pirates do?"

"You don't know? We go on adventures, become the person with the most freedom, and of course, seek treasures."

"Adventures, huh? Okay, I'm in."

"Really? Hahaha, Zoro, we got a new friend."

Luffy immediately became excited as he turned to Zoro who looked at Izumi suspiciously. 

"Is it really okay?" Zoro asked.

"It's okay, it's okay. You're the swordsman, he's a ninja, and I'm the captain. Hahaha."

Izumi just smiled at them.

"I'm Izumi."

"I'm Monkey D. Luffy. The man who will become the Pirate King."

"Pirate King, huh? There are a lot of strong people out there, you know."

"Of course. But, I'm strong after all."

"You?" Izumi turned his head.

"Roronoa Zoro."

"Luffy and Zoro, huh? Nice to meet you. By the way, why would a pirate use a small boat like this?"

Zoro was silent, avoiding Izumi's question. While Luffy replied.

"We're still trying to find someone who can build a ship."

To be honest, if Izumi didn't know the canon, he would be dumbfounded after Luffy said that.
