Ophis

Lou helplessly looks at the girl in front of him, there is only 15 minutes before the next match is going to start and he decides to go for a bathroom break.

Who thought that a portal appears at the top of his cubicle and a petite girl drops from it making him petrified while sitting in the toilet bowl.

"What are you doing?"

A cute young girl with long black hair down to her hips and black eyes. Her ears differ from a normal human's as they have pointed tips, although her long black hair makes this feature difficult to notice. Her dark grey eyes have reptilian slitted pupils.

"What are you doing?"

Hearing the faint voice, Lou finally snapped out, from inside he felt something pretty funny, he didn't know what this was because this was the first time he experienced this, but for some reason, he felt happy somehow.

The petite girl who looked like an exquisite doll didn't care at all, but she repeated her previous question again.

"I… yes?... what am I doing?.... Well, I'm just taking my time thinking about some memories from the past."

System,' You're lying, you actually want to take a dump.'

'Shut up, you're not cute at all,' Lou inward said.

"My name is Lou, what about you? What is your name?"

"Ophis…."

Ophis replied calmly, the unmuffled voiced sound without any hint of emotion, just like a robot without emotion.

"Just as expected…."

Just like what he expected, this girl is unexpectedly familiar to him, hearing his name invokes some hidden memory inside of his not-so-smart brain.

Looking at Ophis puzzled expression, Lou frowns slightly and asks.

"That, Ophis. Why are you here?"

Ophis cutely tilted her head and let out a cute answer.

"I was driven by the red guy….."

'What an adorable kid.' Lou inward said.

System,' Stop Host, your sickness is triggering again!'

'Driven? So someone pushes you out of your house?"

"Ok.."

"That's sad, then what is your plan?"

Ophis looked at him for a couple of seconds and said," Sister….."

"Sister?"

Ophis nodded.

"I will find my sister…. And you…. I can smell the red guy essence, a snake, and my little sister essence from your body….."

"From me? I think i can't remember any sister that looks like you at all,"

"Really?"

Lou nodded.

Although he felt funny inside, Lou tried to keep himself calm as possible in order to learn more about Ophis, and then began to chat with her about various things, and family confirmed.

He finally confirms that this girl, she is just a simple-minded girl who doesn't know anything, just like a blank paper.

According to her, she was intruded by a red guy while sleeping in her home then she was kicked out because she can't beat the opponent.

Without any choice, she travels around until she suddenly remembers what she can find her sister in the human world, but who though she opens a portal straight to the male cubicle and just like that they both happen to meet each other.

"Well, if you don't know any clue about your sister except for the essence in my body, why not stay with me for the meantime, maybe we meet your sister eventually."

Ophsi looked at Lou while tilting her head cutely as if she was thinking deeply, but in the end, she nodded at him.

Lou hurriedly stood up and forgot his original business, he took her hand and said," For now, you can follow me until you find your sister or if you can beat that red guy."

Ophis then raises his little hand slightly and then the door of the cubicle opens wide making Lou surprised.

"That…. How did you do that?"

The girl opened her mouth slightly, and after hesitating for a few seconds she said calmly.

"Do not know…"

"Well never mind, let's go out first."

"Your weak"

"I know."

Lou helplessly said, 99% of his original stats is locked right now, and he can only last it until the ranking ends.

"Want my help?"

"You can help me to regain my strength?"

"Ok."

Ophis nodded calmly and raised her hand, a pocket-sized cute little snake emerged from her white palm, then it stuck directly on Lou's body.

A warm and comfortable feeling filled Lou's body, the comfortable feelings made Lou speedy at the same time.

After a dozen seconds, Lou opens his eyes again, and this time he feels the void inside of his body is already full with unknown energy that boosts his overall stats by a large margin.

Even though he doesn't know how to use the energy he got, Lou at least has some reserve if he ever used all his remaining energy.

Somehow, Lou felt guilty using this simple-minded girl, cute, adorable, and huggable, making Lou feel that she needed to be a guard against the wolf outside and evil who would use her for her power.

"Lou?"

"Nothing… i just didn't expect Ophis to be so good, thank you,"

The girl only looked at him dazed, and seemed puzzled by what he said.
