Chapter 36: High Tier Spirit Stones

Veronica now had an ice dragon head covering her right arm encasing the sword up to the hilt. The ice continues forming up over her shoulders, with two large wings sprouting from her back and a long tail. The ice forms down her left arm and encases her hand, which ends in a claw. Veronica's feet are encased in ice in a similar manner to her left hand, as they also end in claws.

She stretched out her left arm and a hammer appeared. Lightning started to also form in the dark clouds behind her.

The Orochi looking up felt cold sweet drain down his back.

"I guess I have no choice"

His huge form started glowing then started to shrink. What was revealed was a handsome looking man with long blue hair and blue eyes. He wore an elderly gray robe that seemed to flutter with the wind.

"Let's end this in one move"

After saying that the ocean beneath his feet started to vibrate as nine Chinese dragon heads formed beside him. He stretched his hands out letting blue energy flow from his hands into the dragons.

Veronica slashed down with her sword letting out an ice dragon covered in lightning from the clouds.

From the ocean the water dragons also shot up meeting the ice dragon leading to a huge explosion. The wind pressure generated from the explosion was so intense it blew the clouds away.

Both Veronica and Orochi was caught in the explosion. When their figures were revealed they both were coughing up blood.

"Just who are you?" the Orochi asked looking up at Veronica whipping the blood from his mouth. His voice contained no anger but just plain curiosity. He was simply curious to the one who could inflict upon him such grave injuries.

"Veronica Valentine of The Multi-Verse Exploding Faction. I'm also known as Captain Hitsugaya The Burnout Inferno."

The Orochi started laughing before saying "You have quite the domineering name and title. Befitting of someone of your caliber. But let me tell you I was only fighting at ten percent of my power just now"

"What bullsh*t are you spewing?"

"It's not bullsh*t. Have you ever wondered why the five elemental mountains are sealed? It was sealed to keep me here"

"Ten thousand years ago I was one of the most powerful cultivators from the immortal realm. I was hailed as the strongest immortal king but because my power was too great the other eleven immortal kings schemed against me. I was lead into a trap where I was surrounded by the eleven immortal kings and 100 million immortals. The battle was long and continued for seven days and nights before I was gravely injured."

"The eleven immortal kings who were also injured couldn't kill so they decided to seal me away. They used all their powers together forcing me into the elemental nation's then putting up a powerful seal. The spiritual energy is so weak here I could only recover 10% of my power after sleeping for thousands of years. I would have continued sleepy until I felt such a powerful energy outburst. I thought on immortal treasure appeared if one did I could use it to recover my strength before going to kill those bastards."

Veronica listening to his story suddenly thought of something hearing the last part of what he said.

"Why did you just assume an immortal treasure appeared? What if it was another immortal?"

The Orochi hearing here question shook his head before saying "That's impossible. When someone from a higher realm goes to a lower one their powers automatically sealed by the will of the heavens. They would not be able to produce such power because their power would be equal to the highest cultivation stage for that realm. That being said they would be thousand times stronger than any ordinary cultivator even with the same stage.

The only possibility would be an immortal treasure appearing. In the past, multiple immortal treasures have appeared in lower realms. That's why when I saw you two I was surprised I immediately attacked because I thought one of you might have already got to the treasure before me. But after fighting I see that's not the case. Your power is purely yours I was the same back when I was at your stage."

Veronica then started thinking 'I can use this to our advantage he seems to really want to get back to the immortal realm. Our little groups is destined to reach the immortal realm and beyond so having one more person around especially a powerful one wouldn't hurt.'

She then looked to Orochi before saying "How about this you said the spiritual energy is thin earlier right? What if I was able to provide you with higher spiritual energy to recover your strength?"

The Orochi looked at her curiously before seriously asking "How would you do that?"

Veronica started grinning as she said "High Tier Spiritual Stones of course."
