Sebastian stared in shock at those red eyes, and then stammered, "W-why?" Baron Eclis didn't say anything but simply smiled, a strand of black hair fell in front of his face. He brushed it away with a flick of annoyance and held the blade closer to Jylan's throat. Sebastian quickly sank to his knees, and the knife stopped its descent.

"I trusted you. I trusted you! I trusted you!" Sebastian whispered, and before he could move, he realized Baron Eclis was suddenly kneeling in front of him, holding the same knife up to his chin with a smile that showed dazzling teeth. Cold metal touched Sebastian's neck, and he flinched.

"You have no idea who I am. Anyway, Get out of here now, and don't show your face again." Baron Eclis said, taking the knife away from Sebastian's chin and tucking it into a pocket somewhere in his hood. Sebastian took a deep, shaky breath and looked at Baron Eclis one more time.

"And if I don't?"

Baron Eclis frowned, his face which had been smiling chipping into a frown. He jabbed a thumb behind him at Jylan, who hadn't woken up yet. "Then he dies." Sebastian nodded and slowly got up. He noticed Baron Eclis was staring at him like a hawk the whole time. Then, slowly, he left the room and felt the hooded figure leaving behind him. He turned to see Baron Eclis still leaning against the wall, waving a gloved hand at him. "Shoo shoo. go already. I'll follow you, so don't try anything."

Sebastian took a deep breath and walked down the hallway, away, further away, from the butler he loved so much.
