Morgan was in his study room. He has just returned from a secret meeting with Brown Hill Family Head. The meeting's conclusion has left him feeling uneasy. However, it is unavoidable.
Both of their families' interests are currently aligned. If he fails to act now, his family's influence in the Federation may dwindle in the future.
That is why he decided to go along with their plan. The Brown Hill Family intends to destroy Zack Lockwood in order to weaken Lowell McClain's position in the Federation.
He has no idea what their plans were. The Brown Family Head did not reveal it. But he knows they will not kill that kid openly.
At this point, their involvement in this competition must be known to the Federation Head. He believes they will take step-by-step action. They will spearhead their plan without informing the other families.
