PROLOGUE: THE STARTING LINE

The streets in Hastur is bustling with crowds. Hastur is a small island located in continent of El Dorado when suddenly the barrier separating this world and the others weakened. Demons and the likes of which you have never seen before came flooding in with the goal of getting stronger by eating foreign species.

They are led by the 7 Deadly Sins. Each army is composed of 1,000,000 soldiers with the exception of the Leader and the Vice-Leader. The 7th army being led by Leviathan the Envy, the 6th being led by Morax the Greed, the 5th being led by Barbatos the Wrath, the 4th being led by Asmodeus the Lust, the 3rd being led by Baal the Sloth, the 2nd being led by Beelzebub the Glutton and the 1st army being led by the strongest of the 7 Deadly Sins, Lucifer the Prideful. Together they are the 7 Deadly Sins but were more known as the 7 Pillars of Hell.

When they started flooding in, people ran like crazy even to the point of ignoring a little kid crying in the middle of the street. In their minds, they only needed to run to a safe zone or a place where you are safe. But reality is not so forgiving, after the demons and monsters came in from the Barrier Crack(1) they immediately spotted the humans and started devouring them.

To the monsters and demons who ate humans they gained skills or abilities which can greatly enhance their ki/mana. Monsters and Demons that are more compatible with Melee(2) or Close Quarter Combat use Ki. While the people suited for Ranged attacks use Mana. However, there exist a different kind of power only known by few it is called Jinzo. It is the result when combining Ki and Mana. But only few succeeded in doing it. If a fight broke out from 2 people using ki and the other one using mana, then the result will be based on their acquired skills/abilities.

The Power of a skill depends on it's rank.

Common - as it's name implies, it is the most common skill one can get. An example would be Common Skill [ Clean ].

Rare - it is the rank above common, skills that can be obtained through training or honing one's skills and talents. It can also be obtained by random.

Unique - Skills that you are born with and is only limited to you so it cannot be robbed by people who have stealing skills.

Demigod - Skills that can only be obtained by being on the verge of death.

And obtaining it will prove to be hard for it has only 50% chance.

Ancient - Skills that is said to be lost ages ago. Skills that the gods once used to their fellow gods who betrayed them and strayed from the light path. Skills that can grow with the user. When obtained, the skill will degrade to Unique when obtained but will grow with the user.

Along with the invasion of demons amd monsters, dungeons are formed on certain places of the world. It is said that if you clear a dungeon you will get artifacts, skills and weapons that will help you get stronger.

And so, the people who are alive all ran to the dungeon without knowing the dangers that are lurking within.

There are also ranks or grade of the dungeon.

Ranging from C to S with C being the lowest and S being the highest grade.

The people who ran to the dungeon were all weaklings, people who have no skills and abilities.

After they came to the dungeon one of them asked a question...

[ Is this so called dungeons safe? I mean it just spawned from the ground, Isn't it weird? ]

Then another man replied,

[ Shut Up! Or perhaps you wanna fight the demons and monsters? We don't have a choice so just shut your trap ]

The man who asked a question was the protagonist -His name is Vayne Krux.
