Chapter 4 : Origin Tower

Nexus smiled slightly as he observed Nyx's blushing face. He felt a deep sense of gratitude towards Kassius and the others for their care and support throughout their journey.

Turning his attention back to Kassius, Nexus inquired, "Grandpa Kassius, do you know which continent we are currently on?"

Nexus was certain that they were not in the Blue Moon Continent where the Blue Moon Kingdom was situated.

Kassius shook his head and responded, "No, Your Highness, I am not aware of our current continent. However, we are currently in Kingdom called the Purple Thorn Kingdom, a kingdom of low stature."

Nexus contemplated Kassius's lack of knowledge about their location. "What is the rank of this Kingdom, Kassius?" he asked.

Kassius replied with a hint of disdain in his eyes, "Your Highness, this Kingdom is so insignificant and feeble that it has not even been recognized among the ranks of kingdoms."

It was understandable that Kassius would look down upon this small kingdom, given his background in a level nine Kingdom that has unified an entire continent.

Even Nexus's mother's Kingdom, which destroyed by the Blue Moon Kingdom was vastly more powerful than this remote and insignificant kingdom on the outskirts of the continent.

Sora and Nyx had indifferent expressions on their faces, not giving much thought to the small and weak Kingdom they found themselves in.

Coming from a powerful Kingdom, a Kingdom as insignificant as this one didn't catch their attention.

Nexus was slightly surprised to learn that the Purple Thorn Kingdom didn't even have a rank among other Kingdoms. How weak must they be to not even make it to the lower ranks?

But Nexus wasn't bothered by it. As a prince from a Level Nine Kingdom, although he had been exiled and he didn't consider this Kingdom worth his time.

Looking at the three people in front of him, Nexus took a deep breath and said," Grandpa Kassius, Grandma Sora, and Nyx '.

" Yes Your Highness" They all responded with a bow.

"We are now alone in this unfamiliar continent, in a foreign Kingdom. We must depend on each other to survive. Even though I am no longer a prince and have lost my status, I promise to do everything possible for us to make it through ". Nexus said with a serious expression.

Despite being banished and having his Cultivation base crippled, he remained confident. With a wealth of knowledge in his mind, he knew he could use it to his advantage, especially in business ventures.

Kassius and Sora looked at Nexus with admiration, seeing his resilience in the face of adversity. They were happy that Nexus didn't allow such major setbacks to get into him.

Nyx, on the other hand, gazed at Nexus with admiration with stars flashing in her eyes and a hint of blush.

"I am relieved to see that you haven't let your circumstances define you, Your Highness," Kassius said with a smile.

"Yes, Your Highness, even though we have been banished and have nothing to our name, we can work hard and provide for ourselves," Sora added.

"Your Highness, I can help support us too," Nyx chimed in from the side.

Nexus chuckled softly at Nyx's comment, feeling grateful for everyone's support.

"Don't worry, with the pills Grandpa Kassius gave me, I'll be back on my feet soon and we can figure out our next steps," Nexus reassured with a smile. Everyone nodded, looking relieved.

"Oh, and you don't have to call me Your Highness anymore. I'm not prince any longer, and you can just call me by my name, I will not use the BlueMoon surname again. From now on, I'm Nexus Astaseul," Nexus announced, pausing for a moment.

Kassius and the others were surprised by Nexus's words, but Kassius quickly spoke up, "Even though you're not a prince anymore,but remember your mother was a princess. So, in a way, you're still royalty."

"Yeah, what Kassius said. You're still royalty to us," Sora added.

Nyx also chimed in, " Yes your Highness,you might not be a prince anymore, but you're still royalty in our eyes."

Nexus shook his head with a chuckle, realizing it would be hard to convince them to stop calling him Your Highness.

"Alright, but let's go with Nexus Astaseul from now on," Nexus declared confidently.

Kassius and the others nodded in agreement, showing their loyalty to Nexus despite their banishment from the Blue Moon Kingdom.

" It's getting late, so you all should go get some rest. Tomorrow we'll discuss our next plan," Nexus said, looking at everyone.

"Yes, Your Highness," everyone responded.

Nexus watched as Kassius and Sora left the room.

Turning to Nyx, who was still there, he asked, "Nyx, why aren't you leaving?"

Nyx nervously played with the edges of her dress, her eyes darting around the room,the tip of her ears were bright red. She hesitantly offered, "Your Highness, since you're still weak, can I help you with your bath?".

Nexus remembered how Sora said Nyx had taken care for him while he was in a coma, cleaning him without hesitation. But now that he was awake,she seemed shy.

Nexus was taken aback for moment his eyes flashed as he stared at Nyx, his lips curled up into a faint smile.

Seeing Nexus staring intensely at her, steam started rising from the top of her as she blushed furiously.

Nyx kept twisting the edges of her dress as she stammered, "You..r Hig..hn...ess, don't get me wrong, I just wanted to take care of you since you're still weak."

He smiled faintly at her and teased, "Do you want to bathe me? I don't mind if you want to take a bath with me."

" Your Highness you are too bad " With that Nyx ruined out of the room while covering her face.

" Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! "

Nexus laughed as Nyx ran out of the room, covering her face.

Teasing her always made him feel comfortable, and he remembered how he used to do it back in the Blue Moon Kingdom.

Seeing her blush always made him happy - he thought she was cute when she blushed.

Nexus sighed as he watched everyone leave the room. He was still worried about how tough it would be to navigate this new land. Despite all the knowledge he had, he knew it wouldn't be easy to get started without any strength to defend himself.

Both Kassius and Sora weren't very strong either, and their cultivation skills were just average. Even with all the resources in a Level Nine Kingdom, they were still stuck in the Essence Meridian Realm without making much progress for years.

As for Nyx, Nexus had tried before to let her cultivate,but it turned out she has no talent for it at all. And now Nexus himself had his foundation crippled.

Surviving in a world where strength is everything, without any means of protection, was going to be a real challenge.

Nexus lay on the bed lost in thought, pondering how to navigate this world with no background to rely on. Suddenly, a strange sensation washed over him, bringing a sense of comfort.

As he tried to make sense of this feeling, he felt a pull, not physical but coming from deep within his soul. It was as if something was tugging at his very essence.

Before he knew it, his vision darkened and when it returned, he found himself surrounded by a vast expanse of space, with stars twinkling all around. He no longer felt weak, but rather enveloped in a warm, comforting sensation.

"Mmmmmm," Nexus moaned in contentment.

It took a while before snapped out of his reverie.

Taking in his surroundings, he saw nothing but endless darkness and flickering lights resembling stars. In the distance, a massive ball of light caught his attention.

"What is that huge ball of light? Let's go check it out," Nexus muttered to himself. As he contemplated approaching it, a powerful force suddenly pulled him towards the light at an alarming speed.

When he regained his senses, he found himself standing in front of a towering, seemingly endless tower.

As Nexus gazed up at the towering structure, so tall that its end was barely visible, he was overcome with awe.

Never before in his life had he encountered such a magnificent and incomprehensible edifice. The sheer scale of the building left him in a state of shock, almost causing him to suffer a heart attack. It was truly a miraculous sight to behold.

After a moment, Nexus managed to collect himself and take a closer look at the tower. Its dark color was interspersed with streaks of silver, giving it a mysterious and ancient appearance. The tower exuded a sense of grandeur and power that was both captivating and intimidating.

As Nexus lowered his gaze, he noticed a massive silver gate in front of him, adorned with red characters that seemed to pulse with chaotic energy. The words "Origin Tower" were emblazoned above the gate, sending a shiver down Nexus's spine.

In a daze, Nexus whispered the name of the tower to himself. Suddenly, the gate rumbled loudly and began to slowly open, unleashing an ancient aura that enveloped Nexus in its embrace.

It was as if he had stepped into a realm of history and mystery, where the past and present intertwined in a mesmerizing dance.
