Chapter 11: Genesis Chaos

Nexus could feel the immense power coursing through his body as he clenched his fist and nodded his head in satisfaction. He was truly overjoyed to have recovered his strength and felt more powerful than ever before.

His physical strength had increased several times over, and he could sense that his soul had also become more powerful. He even entertained the thought that he could punch a hole in the sky, though he knew this was merely an illusion brought on by his sudden increase in strength.

As the formation plate entered his body, the shield covering him dispersed. Thankfully, the formation plate played a significant role in concealing the commotion that the fusion of the bloodline could have caused. The courtyard also played a manor role too,located in a secluded part of the city, few people ventured to this area, which was advantageous in this situation.

Nexus marveled at the changes that had occurred in his body due to the fusion of the bloodline.

Standing at 1.85 meters tall, his physique boasted eight packed abs, powerful biceps, and a body that appeared to have been crafted by a divine artisan. His face exuded a devilishly handsome charm, with vibrant red eyes reminiscent of rubies adorned with intricate silver runes that were both enchanting and alluring. His waist-length red hair, streaked with silver, completed his striking appearance.

Even Kassius, who was standing a few feet away, couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy at Nexus's divine body. It was a body that exuded power and strength, something any man would desire. The powerful aura emanating from Nexus was palpable even from where Kassius stood.

Sora's cheeks were slightly flushed as she stole glances at Nexus's transformed body. Despite being the one who had raised Nexus and seen all there was to see, the sudden change in his physique was truly astonishing.

Just as Nexus was reveling in his newfound strength, a piece of cloth was tossed his way. Catching it, he saw Kassius looking at him blankly and Sora turning away with a sheepish smile. Nexus quickly donned the cloth, a long red trouser that brought him a sense of relief.

His attention then turned to Nyx, who was still unconscious. He was taken aback by her condition.

"What happened to Nyx? Why is she unconscious?" Nexus inquired urgently as he rushed to her side.

"Your Highness, she fainted when your body exploded ," Sora explained.

Nexus was taken aback for a moment, as he had not expected to be the cause of Nyx losing consciousness.

He gently lifted Nyx in a princess-style carry and stated, "I will take her to her room." Nexus then raised his head to gaze at the sun.

"Grandma Sora, you can start preparing dinner for when Nyx wakes up. We will eat together," Nexus informed.

He then turned to Grandpa Kassius and added, "We will talk at the table."

Kassius responded with a respectful bow,"Yes Your Highness"

Nexus carefully placed Nyx on her bed, admiring her pale yet beautiful face. He tenderly rubbed her cheeks and covered her with a blanket. A smile graced Nyx's lips as she relaxed in her sleep.

" Nyx " muterring her name, Nexus gazed at her peaceful face. After a moment, he snapped out of his reverie, left the room, and closed the door gently.

Making his way to his own room, Nexus sat on the bed and with a thought his soul appear on the first floor of the Origin Tower.

As soon as he appeared on the first floor, Jade's cute and messy appearance greeted him with a wide grin on her face. Nexus couldn't help but notice how adorable she looked, but he resisted the urge to punch her.

"Congratulations on perfectly fusing with the bloodline," Jade exclaimed, flashing her white teeth in a wild grin.

Nexus's expression darkened as he shouted, "Perfect? You call this perfect? I almost died!" His composure shattered, the joy of gaining a bloodline and increased strength fading away.

"But you're still alive, and that's a good thing," Jade said nonchalantly.

Nexus was at a loss for words. He knew Jade was right - at least he hadn't died.

"You've regained your strength and acquired a powerful bloodline. Why are you so upset? Come on, be happy," Jade said, rolling her eyes at him.

Nexus took a deep breath to calm his racing heart, acknowledging that Jade was indeed correct in her assessment.

"Okay, Nexus, listen carefully," Jade began, her expression serious. "The formation plate acts as a seal, as I mentioned earlier. It will seal a portion of your bloodline in place. As you grow stronger, the seal will gradually loosen."

Nexus nodded, recalling Jade's previous explanation. Glancing at her, he asked eagerly, "So, what is the current percentage of my bloodline that has been unsealed?"

Jade's eyes suddenly flashed with white runes as she gazed at him. After a moment, she gave him a sidelong glance and replied, "You have currently unlocked 0.1 percent of your bloodline."

"And that means your body can currently only withstand 0.1 percent of the bloodline, so hurry up and quickly increase your strength if you want to control the bloodline," Jade added.

Nexus almost coughed out. After enduring immense pain, constantly dying and resurrecting, he had only unsealed 0.1 percent of the bloodline. Nexus's face showed signs of distress, but he knew he had to push through.

"Alright, stop thinking about it. What did you gain from fusing with the bloodline?" Jade interrupted Nexus's thoughts with excitement.

Taken aback, Nexus suddenly remembered that a stream of information had been drilled into his mind while fusing with the bloodline, but he wasn't in the right mindset to explore it.

"Oh, I almost forgot about that," Nexus nodded in realization. "When I was fusing with the bloodline, a vast amount of information was drilled into my brain," Nexus said, closing his eyes. A few moments later, he opened them in shock.

"What! What did you get?" Jade asked eagerly.

Collecting himself, Nexus looked at Jade and said in shock, "The information is a Cultivation technique and the name of the bloodline."

"What is the name of the Cultivation technique and bloodline?" Jade inquired eagerly, her eyes filled with impatience.

Nexus took a deep breath before responding, "The Cultivation technique is known as the Genesis Chaos Codex, and the bloodline is called the Genesis Chaos Bloodline."

Jade's expression shifted from shock to excitement as she began jumping and waving her hands with joy.

"That's great! That's really great!" she exclaimed enthusiastically. Nexus looked at her with confusion, wondering why she was so happy as if she were the one who had obtained the bloodline.

After a moment, Jade composed herself and asked, "What are the abilities of the Genesis Chaos Bloodline?"

"I don't know. The information only provided the name of the bloodline," Nexus replied with a shrug.

Jade pondered for a moment before inquiring, "What about the Cultivation technique?"

Nexus explained, "The Genesis Chaos Codex allows me to absorb Spirit Energy a hundred times faster than normal, with the speed increasing as I grow stronger. It also purifies the Spirit Energy I absorb. Additionally, it includes a Body Cultivation Method and a Soul Cultivation Method. The Body Cultivation Method consists of Viscera Refinement, Marrow Purification, Bone Strengthening, Skin Tempering, and Muscle Transformation. The Soul Cultivation Method is divided into Spiritual Sea, Spirit Sense, Soul Form, Soul Force, Soul Sea, and Soul Transformation."

Jade wore a pensive expression, her hand gently rubbing her chin as if deep in thought. Nexus observed her and inquired, "What is the rank of the Genesis Chaos Codex?"

Jade snapped out of her contemplation and replied, "The Genesis Chaos Codex cannot be measured by a mere rank; it is a priceless treasure," she gestured with her hands to emphasize her point.

Nexus was taken aback by Jade's high regard for the Genesis Chaos Codex. After a moment of reflection, he surmised that it must hold significant importance.

Curious, Nexus pressed further, "What about the Genesis Chaos Bloodline? Why is there no information available besides its name?"

Jade admitted, "I am unsure about that, but I speculate that it may be linked to the percentage of control one possesses. Perhaps more information can be obtained by unsealing a larger portion of it."

Nexus nodded in comprehension.

He bid Jade farewell, saying, "I must attend to other matters. I will take my leave now."

Jade waved him off casually, "Alright."

With a mere thought, Nexus vanished from the first floor.

As Nexus opened his eyes, he exhaled deeply and allowed himself to sink into deep contemplation.

Despite everything that had transpired, he still couldn't shake the feeling that it was all just a dream. From being wrongly accused and banished to losing both his strength and status, to suddenly being presented with a supreme opportunity that allowed him to regain his Cultivation and even acquire a supreme bloodline - it all felt surreal to him.

Shaking himself out of his thoughts, Nexus stood up and made his way out of the room. As soon as he opened the door, he was met with the sight of Kassius standing before him, hands behind his back.

Upon seeing Nexus, Kassius immediately bowed and addressed him as "Your Highness."

" Grandpa Kassius " Nexus nodded in acknowledgement, " What are you standing here for?"

Kassius explained" Sora sent me to inform youthat the food was ready "

Nexus nodded faintly, " What about Nyx, has she woken?" He inquired.

" Yes Your Highness, she woke up a while ago and is currently helping Sora with the food " Kassius confirmed

Nexus was relieved to hear that Nyx was awake," Ok,let's go and eat ". He gestured for Kassius to follow him as he made his way towards the dining area.
