Ancestor of Cultivation

Zhou Yongnian was taught the way of cultivation by the supreme deity Shangdi. However, what the god didn't tell Zhou Yongnian is that he must teach the humans of modern times how to cultivate. Follow him as he tries his hardest to follow up on the impossible. Disclaimer: This is a parallel universe. Not everything may be historically accurate. No clue why I must disclaim this.

The plan

"Li, we gotta talk for a sec!" Nate called Li down from his bedroom, and sat him on the couch.

"Yeah, what's up?" Li replied in a confused tone, because he thought his father might be mad at him. Just when they started to make progress too.

However, it was odd because he had no recollection of violating anyone's rules, so to say he was unnerved was an understatement.

"So, son." Nate said in a chill tone which gave Li some form of relaxation, but nonetheless he was intrigued to see what his adoptive father had to say.

"Wanna do cross country?" He said to Li.

"What is cross country?" Li replied like he just saw the Matrix for the first time.

"What? It's like a tradition, in Australia." Nate replied almost as confused as Li.

"Aren't we in China?" Li said slowly.

"No. We don't speak Chinese?" Nate replied further confused as he thought his son knew they spoke English.

Nate and Katy didn't even look remotely Asian. They were pure blooded Australian's with fairly heavy accents.

So to say Nate was surprised is a bloody understatement.

China was where Li thought he was, but it was just a gut feeling, and he felt oddly connected to the word. It just... clicked with him.

"Okay, I'll do cross country." replied a still slightly addled Li. Shortly after he returned to his room.

"He's a bit of an oddball, I thought they would teach him that kind of thing." Nate expressed with concern. "What are they teaching him in that school."

"Oh it doesn't matter anyway, if your that concerned we can transfer him to another school." Katy convinced her husband.

Time skip lol ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

2 years later.

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you" (yada yada you get the point)

"I can't believe you're 10 Li." Nate said gleefully as he brought out a beautiful looking mud cake.

"Yeah it's rather hard to believe that I've been alive 1/3 of the time you've been alive father." Li slyly remarked.

(The party is not what concerns this portion of the chapter though. It's the cultivation baby. less go)

Spirit. Pool. Manifestation.

On Li's first birthday, he entered the 3rd realm of cultivation, and he decided to initiate his plan to introduce cultivation.

I will now show his game plan

The plan:

Step 1: Gain some sort of online presence.

Step 2: Create a short clip showing cultivation/an example of what it can do.

Step 3: Wait for the news to spread.

Step 4: He's not God, he can't see into the future.

That's it, that's his game plan, stop expecting more.

However Li was happy because he could feel he should name this new realm, so far he decided to name the realms after what he was doing and decided to continue with this trend.

But he was confused on what to do next, when suddenly mysterious force told him what to do.

"Spirit pools?" He had a myriad of questions but before he knew it, the weird voice was gone.

(Unsurprisingly to you, the viewer, he tried it because I couldn't think of anything else.)

Thus began the start of a very long process of making hundreds of spirit pools all over his meridians.

Of course it took him 3 days to make a single pool because he was trying to grasp the concept of it, so the more times he forms spirit pools the more proficient he will become and the quicker he will form them.

Even though he barely scratched the surface of the cultivation realm, he ended up feeling the effects beginning to take place, even though they were minor.

He begun to see the true effects this realm may bring about, and he decided to wait until the end of this current realm to introduce cultivation to a wider audience of people.

So he put phase one into action.

Alright... A name for my channel... ummmm... How about Li. That name sort of resonates with me. I suppose it doesn't really matter what the name is anyway.

This marked the start of a 3 part arc that will never come into play again (No seriously)

I will leave the details of his videos out but they mainly consist of martial arts tips, and he keeps putting hard cuts in his video where he hints toward something deeper in the final frame before the cut.

At first, he received no views but over the next few weeks he began to become slightly popular, like 100 thousand views on mewtube.

People seemed to genuinely enjoy the content Li was producing even though they weren't of high quality they were very informative.

(How he learned martial arts, I dunno I may be the author but I am stupid and added a plot hole.)

Some of the comments consisted of;

Deathlord1253: Thanks for the info bro! Love the vids.

Leeth749: Wow didn't know that fact at 2:47. Very informative.

Mothergracious: That was a pretty cool looking kick at 4:16.

Those were 3 examples of the thousands of positive comments and it even brought a smile to Li's face however he had to focus on cultivation.

And focus on cultivation he did.

Li doesn't look Asian or any country as a matter of a fact. He is more of mix everything. Because every human is a descendant of him. And no, His wife and son didn't have children together. The big man upstairs made a bunch of humans from Li's DNA. Then I just put him in a random country.
