Ancestor of Cultivation

Zhou Yongnian was taught the way of cultivation by the supreme deity Shangdi. However, what the god didn't tell Zhou Yongnian is that he must teach the humans of modern times how to cultivate. Follow him as he tries his hardest to follow up on the impossible. Disclaimer: This is a parallel universe. Not everything may be historically accurate. No clue why I must disclaim this.

The Government

Li had awoken from his dream to a loud knock on his door it was the National Defense Minister of Australia, he had come to take Li to America where he would rendezvous with the President and other important officials.

It was at this moment that Li's parents had to come see what was happening as they heard the loud helicopter outside which had woken them up.

"Who are you and what do you want?" Nate asked cautiously as he stepped in front of his son to protect him almost out of instinct.

"I'm taking Mr. Li Liang to the pentagon, this is after all his fault." The Minister said and went to grab Li.

Now Li had figured they would figure it out sooner or later as they could trace the IP of the video back to him and he was surprised they didn't take him sooner.

All of this cause him to not resist and he just let the Minister take him.

"Li, wait, come back" His parents shouted after him but they to knew that the next few hours would decide the fate of humanity.

At the pentagon

---

"Move, Move, transport the kid to the war room!" A lieutenant shouted at the plethora of soldiers surrounding Li.

'That was the most boring plane ride ever. Had to go from helicopter to plane then car, like dude what the hell?' Li thought, unhappy.

At least there wasn't much traffic because everyone was preoccupied.

As he entered the War Room he saw many things, soldiers that haven't slept in many hours, scientists going crazy about the recent revelation, and very anxious world leaders.

Li calmly sat down and was instantly surrounded by a heavy aura of dread. It was then that the president of the United States spoke.

"How did you find out?" He spoke in a tone of urgency. He had the look of a father that had been parenting his children and going to work with little to no rest.

"That's classified Mr. President" Li said happily because deep down he always wanted to say that.

"I'm not fucking around kid! The amount of anarchy you have caused is unprecedented, I could kill you right now if I wanted to!" The president said enraged.

"Go ahead and try!" Li said mockingly as if challenging the presidents authority and power.

Before the situation escalated the president of Russia spoke up "Please just recount your story child" He spoke softer than the US President.

Li happily obliged to someone who had politely asked. He was able to recount the story very simply.

"There isn't much you need to know honestly. I discovered it very accidentally, and I told the world about it because a guiding voice had told me to." Li recounted very lazily

"If your wondering what the voice is, honestly I have no clue, but it has been able to guide me in the correct path so I trust it unconditionally." Li tried to make it sound like he wasn't schizophrenic.

"I think it also told me something about a world coming to invade us soon too. But yeah that's about it."

"That's all I need to hear to know that this child is just that. A child. He has helped us so we will give him our thanks and send him on his way with compensation." The Russian President said very relaxed.

Without another word Li was sent back home. It was a lot quicker than he imagined but he understood they were very panicked.

While on the plane back home Li started browsing Mewtube. Every video he saw was centered around cultivation.

Gamers, Geeks, and curious people were all trying their luck with cultivation. One had even made it past the preliminary stage of Anatomy Modulating and stepped into the first stage.

He was receiving lots of praise for his talent and people were convinced he was a world class prodigy.

He wasn't.

He was just slightly more talented than other people and the public would soon begin to catch up to him.

Some of the videos however were talking about the root of the discovery Li. He was slightly happy that people had positive things to say about him.

Li however wasn't one to show much emotion. But he let a smile smile escape his lips and it was genuine.

Shortly after he landed, Li recounted his mini side quest to his parents to which they were shocked he didn't stay longer. (May have been a lazy author and a lack of motivation😒)

He went to go visit Eu Meh but she was in seclusion. It was at this moment that he realised that he had no one to talk to.

Everyone in his small social circle was doing something, so Li decided to sit down and cultivate. Finally putting his heart and soul into it.

His cultivation speed rose by a small bit as it occupied every corner of his subconscious.

He was determined to strengthen himself. The slow process was boring but important to what he was doing.

---

Several Hours Later

---

Li had finished cultivating when he had thought of something. It was beginning to get boring to him.

This was bad. People found it really cool but they got bored of it. Li had to do something if he didn't want the interest in cultivation to dip.

Perhaps this is where I merge technology and qi. He wanted to make a holographic screen which could perform simple tasks.

'Maybe I should sleep on it and see if anything pops up in the morning?' Li thought to himself.

He only had one more problem. People may become so invested in his screen they stop cultivating. So he came up with a solution.

If you reach the 5th level of Anatomy Modulating you can buy it.

This was how he came up with an awesome idea that would inevitably start the 2nd Industrial Revolution or something that is more relative to the modern era.
