Ancestor of Cultivation

Zhou Yongnian was taught the way of cultivation by the supreme deity Shangdi. However, what the god didn't tell Zhou Yongnian is that he must teach the humans of modern times how to cultivate. Follow him as he tries his hardest to follow up on the impossible. Disclaimer: This is a parallel universe. Not everything may be historically accurate. No clue why I must disclaim this.

Mushrooms

Li truly believed the Earth provided everything a human could need, like food, water, and medicine.

Some people used artificial products and ate processed foods, which Li was indeed guilty of.

He, however, wanted to change his ways and habits of eating. He would now introduce more herbal foods into his diet.

This didn't he was going vegan, but it certainly meant he would probably thin up a bit.

At the moment, he was growing a stockier build. However, he wanted to remain lean.

Li told his parents he wanted to do something. Without any further needed information, they said goodbye.

They didn't even tell him to stay safe. That's how much they trusted him to protect himself.

He didn't specify how long he would leave for. His parents knew Li would probably be gone for longer than 6 months.

Because they wanted the best for him, they let him.

Li left to head a little further north since Dearport was located nearly at the very top of Australia.

It was certainly the idea place for Li as he planned on travelling to the Philippines, and living there for a while.

Other than the crazy locals, it was actually a good place to be. Li really wanted to challenge himself by putting himself in an unfamiliar place with no way to communicate with the locals.

It sounded very intimidating, but Li didn't plan to talk to anyone. He wanted to live like a recluse.

Li found himself at the peninsula of Australia after a few hours of walking and thinking. He just had to look out for a boat or someone else.

After looking for a few minutes, he found an old man who was pushing his boat out to sea.

"Excuse me, sir, can you please take me to Papua New Guinea." Li asked awkwardly, asking this old struggling man.

The old man paid no mind to Li as he continued to struggle, pushing his boat out to sea.

Li helped the man push it out with ease as the boat wasn't too difficult to push for him and required little effort.

"Yeah, alright, mate, I'll give ya lift since I'm headed PNG ways anyway." The man replied in a very thick Aussie accent

"But what's a kid like you doing headed up there. Shouldn't you be with your parents?" He asked suspiciously

Li had to throw his parents under the bus here. "My parents abandoned me at birth." Even though it was technically true, it still made Li feel bad.

"Sorry to hear it, mate. I'll give ya a hand." The man said empathetically. And they went up to Papua New Guinea in the man's boat, which was surprisingly fast.

It only took a few hours to get to the capital Port Moresby. "Thanks for the ride, sir. I really appreciate it." Li said thankfully.

"Nah, it's all good, mate. I was also headed this way, so no worries." The old man assured Li.

After a pleasant goodbye, Li was able to walk to the top of Papua New Guinea after two days.

After walking, Li was tired, but he did have a few rest breaks in between where he met many lovely people.

After his adventure, he was nearly at his destination. He decided to bite the bullet and put all his power into swimming to the Philippines.

He was scared because he was most likely not going to make it to the shore since it was a long distance away, but it's a good test for him.

He was absolutely right. There was no way he was going to ever swim that distance. He may be strong, but he is still just a child.

He felt his vision begin to blur, and his head spun.

...

...

...

Li woke up he was on a beach, and he was slightly delirious. What happened?

Li had passed out and woken up in an unknown place.

Before anything, Li used his basic version of a system to see what was wrong

Why is my health so bad, and why are my vitals irregular? What's going on here? There were so many questions and no answers.

Li finally got up, and his whole body ached. "Ugh, this sucks." Every part of Li hurt, so he headed into the jungle in front of him because he was hungry.

He looked around for anything, but all he found were mushrooms. He found a few that looked pretty tasty.

There was this white fluffy one and one that looked like a rock. He tried both, and they were both delicious.

He collected a bunch of both and kept them safe at the precipice of the forest. He thought it to be a good food source.

The voice in his head suddenly started talking to him again. "Keep collecting Lions Mane and Reishi. They will provide all the nutrients you need ."

Li had been following the voice since he was six, so he trusted it by this point and decided to keep these mushrooms on his person as a viable food source.

'Well, now I need to get myself some shelter. It's gonna be essential for nightfall because the animals are stronger now. A bear might even be able to maul me if it cultivates enough.'

He decided to do a quick search of the island to find some shelter, but he realised what he was on was a lot larger piece of land than he initially thought.

It took him a while, but he found a modest sized cave to reside in and thought it would be great if there was nothing that already owned the cave.

If nothing came back to claim the cave by nightfall, Li would assume natural ownership of it. There was nothing really stopping him anyway.

'I've got a good herbal side of my diet, but I need to resolve some meat for my diet because I miss its taste already.' Li thought regretfully.

He toughened his resolve, and he fully dedicated himself and his mindset to staying on this island for as long possible to grow as vastly as possible.

Li's thoughts were suddenly stirred by a low growl coming from directly behind him.

Yes I know these chapters are rushed with shitty writing but im going to try and improve it just for you.
