Chapter 12
A short while ago, he and Lance had fetched Mike, and they left the twins to play with Megan in the company of Cynthia and Andrew. When they arrived at the bookstore, they’d greeted the present owners, who’d given them a tour of the place, including the storage space and the second floor apartment, both huge in size.
While the storage space would require a small amount of renovation, the apartment needed to be refurbished to suit them. Nonetheless, everything looked amazing. The owners informed Mike that they’d vacate the building within a month of the final payment.
When the tour was over, they thanked the old couple and walked to the office building. One of the security guards provided Mike with the keys to the empty office space so the three men could look inside.
