Casino Situation2-10

Raxdos was downing drink after drink at the bar, cursing this planet for their weak alcohol. His night so far wasn't that great since there were no challenges on any of the gambling tables, and he got tired of the women that are easily swayed by money.

Some people also gave him weird glances from time to time because of the glasses, but he understood why.

He didn't want to take them off however because of old habits, some people said his eyes looked very beautiful but deep down he didn't like them so much. Especially now after he learned of his origins.

He ordered another glass of strong gin as he was thinking of personal matters but the bartender wasn't the one to bring it to him this time.

It was actually the beautiful woman he met earlier in the car park, so after putting on his usual smile and thanking her for bringing the drink he acted like she wasn't there.

Barbara was surprised at first and sat down next to him, thinking of a way to start the conversation.

"Don't." Raxdos said as if reading her mind.

"Don't what?" She asked.

"I'm not in the mood for your kind right now, so just don't." He then downed half of his drink.

"My kind?"

"What kind of women would you say frequent these places? Dress in skintight dresses like you? I mean look at the rest of the bar counter, there are at least another five lonely guys.

The only reason you didn't go and talk to them is because their suits don't cost as much as mine. But if you talk to them you'll have a lot more luck getting some money or drinks, because I'm not exactly feeling generous." Raxdos answered without holding back.

"What if I said that I just want to talk?" She didn't give up, and tried one last time.

"Listen, I'm just not in the mood alright?" This time he kept it short and impatient, but his loud tone had already attracted some attention.

A young man thought it might be his chance to impress Barbara and decided to confront Raxdos.

"Is this douchebag giving you any trouble miss?" The man asked with his chest puffed out.

That was the final straw to completely piss off Raxdos, as he grabbed the man by the back of neck effortlessly and slammed his face into the bar counter.

If he used any more strength he would break the man's neck but he's not a mindless murderer and so he held back.

"I think I'm done for the night." Raxdos said and walked towards the exit of the casino.

"No you're not. Do you know who you just hit? That right there is Carmine Falcone's son-" A huge henchman put his hand on Raxdos shoulder to top him but after one punch the 230 lbs man flew three metres back.

"God these people really don't understand... I can't give less of a shot who you are." Raxdos was about to finally leave before he heard a weird sound from behind him.

"Take one more step and your dead pal!" Four men in similar black suits took out guns and pointed them in his direction.

Gasps were heard all over the casino, most people getting to the ground to avoid the upcoming spray of bullets.

"Alright, alright let's not get too carried away. Instead of doing this here why don't we resolve the situation in the nearby alleyway?"

Raxdos wanted his identity to still remain a secret, and no matter how pissed off he is right now he acted as calm as he could.

"You know what boys, I think that's a brilliant idea. Start moving bitch." One of the hunchmen said gestures towards the back of the casino with his pistol.

Raxdos clenched his teeth and fists, trying as hard as he could to not instantly pulverise these vermin.

Bruce and Barbara left for the toilet and suited up, their mission now being to prevent Raxdos from killing the goons.

It took them two minutes to completely suit up and after getting out through the toilet windows Batman and Batgirl rushed to the alleyway near the casino.

"So, you got any last wishes?" The duo heard the familiar thug voice and picked up their pace.

"You humans are such a funny race, you protect each other just as much as you kill each other." Raxdos replied while shaking his head, confusing the thugs who now thought he was crazy.

I mean if you look at Gotham there are plenty of crazy people around the city- any of the current villains would be good examples.

*Boom!*

"What the-"

"It's the fucking Bat!"

A smoke bomb was detonated between Raxdos and the thugs, followed by two figures dressed in black dropping from the nearby buildings.

*Smack* "Uff!"

*Thump* "Ack"

*Crack* "My arm?!"

Raxdos heard the three gunmen getting their asses handed to them from the other side of the smoke, kind of regretting that he's not the one to do so.

After the smoke cleared out Raxdos saw who came to his aid- the ones the newspapers and public call 'Batman' and 'Batgirl'. For some reason they were looking at him as if he had done something wrong.

"Right... well thank you for the help but I do have one question to ask. Why don't you two wear masks to hide your facial structure?" Raxdos asked with his hands in his pockets.

The two ignored his however question and turned around to leave the area.

"Come on guys it's pretty obvious who you are, since my job involves remembering every detail of an individual's face. I understand that you guys are trying to keep your identities hidden, so just take it as a piece of advice."

Raxdos then walked out of the alleyway and went back inside the casino, leaving the duo to think about what he just said.
