The director was the outstanding photographer in the fashion industry. Willison Hudson, An English photographer.
The contest was a worldwide event and they had to hire the best.
"Ms. Xiyu, you are up!" Hudson said tiredly as he adjust the camera.
Xiyu walked upright to the set and sat down. She is wearing a blue mermaid tale dress with her hair tired in a bun.
Among all the model, Xiyu was the only one with expensive jewels on her necks and on her body.
Her ears carried the most expensive earrings of JW company. And her fingers had real karat gold on them.
"I want an innocent, naif emotion from you. Action!" He said and sat back on his seat.
The camera snapped at her twice and she kept changing positions.
"Perfect! Give me the pose you were born with!" The director impressed by her body and emotions praised Xiyu.
Xiyu got up and smirked at the direction of Meiyin and left the set.
"Last but not the least, We have Ms. Zhang " The director announced as Meiyin strode into the set.
Her hair were embroiled with the newest edition of LY jewels. On her face had little make up and very light make up.
There was no doubt that the runway was born for her. Her aura and charisma made the director and other members smile in happiness.
Her hips swayed and when she reached the set, she smiled.
"Nice, Ms. Zhang. Very professional!" The director gave her a thumbs up and got the camera ready.
Ms. Zhang got into character immediately and portrayed the innocent and naif emotion needed.
Her slim nose and pink lips perfected the roles that the director could not help but to keep snapping.
Xiyu gritted in anger as she saw the many praises given to Meiyin. She stumped her feet in anger.
"That is perfect!" He said and climbed on the stage to announce the big news.
"Through out our harsh selection, we have decided to puck only two models for our selection. Right here, right now, Let's give it up for Ms. Yun Xi and Ms. Zhang Meiyin "
The director announced with happiness as the others who did not get in wailed and some sobbed.
A good opportunity was lost. The models had no choice but to weep and whimper. But in the corner had Ms. Iyu who had her fingers dug deep into her flesh.
Her skin were red due to the marks of her sharp finger nails. She wanted that role so much and expected it was stolen.
"Are you sure of the results?" The manager tried to persuade the man but he nodded happily.
"Though Ms. Xiyu had the potential but her emotions were fake according to the real one we need ." He added a little mockery to his words.
Hudson kept trying to recall the stupid person who brought on the idea of having Xiyu to take the role.
Since over the years, She got rich and roles not because she had the potential but the name EVA!
EVA in the model industry was the biggest name ever and since she had and looked like the name, people decided to use her.
Most people were irritated by Ms. Xiyu's behavior and attitude to them but kept up with it all because they wanted to use the name EVA to attract investment.
"But.....We could at least negotiate. You know it would be beneficial to use EVA than a new model, right?" The manager who also abhorred Meiyin said too.
"That is what makes it more natural. I am sorry that EVA could not make it into the finals but....Life is how it is. " The director left the stage and went to the back door.
Some models congratulated Yun Xi and Meiyin while some bore hatred for them and left.
"Congratulations! You made it!" Lan Junwei hugged her tightly.
In the modeling industry, A rookie was not able to get any role at all talk less of being praised by the famous director, Willison Hudson.
"I did!" Meiyin laughs and fans herself.
She could not hold such news to herself and texted Yan Ruyue to celebrate with her.
"Ms. Zhang, you were so awesome out there. " Yun Xi also a rookie at modeling shook hands with Meiyin.
"Thank you so much to hear from a fellow model like you !" Meiyin replied with happiness.
She is finally getting her glory which was stolen last nine years from her back and it was not yet the end.

"Boss! That runway was so perfect!" Jimi complimented Meiyin as he clapped his hands.
They were seated upstairs far away from the crowd. When Jimi noticed he did not hear anything from the boss, he turned to him.
"Boss?" He waved his hands
Rui was so focused on the happy Meiyin that he did not notice that he has been caught.
"Keep your dirty hands to yourself!" Rui threw his hands away and stood up.
"Director Hudson " Jimi greeted as the director took his seat near them.
"It is so good that Mr. Ling joined us today. Any comments on the models?" Director Hudson himself was happy but yet restricted to his words.
It was so rare to see the Big Boss attend such a low like event and especially for the runway to. Getting connections won't be that bad, right?
"Do I need to tell you what to do?" He referred his words to Jimi and Jimi sighed.
"Mr Willison, The big boss does not want to be disturbed. You may take your leave now " He sounded polite but yet indicate the consequences if he stayed here.
"Okay!" He stood up and left.
"I got the contacts of the brand and they are interested in using her for their ambassador of their jewels ." Jimi hands the file over the Rui and he scans it.
"That Is great " He coldly said and gets up to leave.
His little, future wife had already gotten the endorsement of LY jewels, the second famous and expensive jewel shop in the entire world.
