Lances Vs Rudolf

[Rudolf Helstea's Pov]

"Arthur I think you have some old scores to settle with him, so I will leave him to you."

"Thanks, Rudolf." Said Arthur.

I walked back towards the students and some little girl ran towards me and hugged me tightly.

"Brother, brother.." Lily just kept crying and continued saying my name again and again. It looked like she was so traumatized that she did not even realize that I was standing on my feet. It inspected her body and she seemed the least injured. That was good or I would have to blow up this whole Academy with my anger. And where was that Director I saw 2 years ago?

I just patted her head.

Some of the students around me looked at me with confusion and some with gratitude in their eyes. Not many people knew me. But I saw a group of black-clothed people trying to attack the barrier I had set up.

[Fire of Annihalation]

I snapped my fingers and every single terrorist except the students and the one Arthur was fighting with burned and turned to ashes within seconds. That was my power. I was above millions just below the so-called Deities. But looks like I will be meeting them soon.

Everyone was shocked to see me using so much mana. Because I had just healed the most serious students almost a hundred and I still had the strength to kill the terrorists with a snap of my fingers.

Lily had also become a little calm but she was still holding my sleeves.

I did not mind.

They wanted to thank me but the battle between Arthur and that crazy maniac had started and the man I was right this boy was the protagonist. The fight was completely one-sided with Arthur one by one cutting off the limbs of the crazy mage.

No one sympathized with the one being beaten as he had killed their friends and professors.

At last, Arthur even destroyed that thing

... of him so he could not spread his filth.

After comforting my sister I walked towards Arthur. Because it looked like he had used a power that was too much for his current body.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

[Arthur Leywin's Pov]

Arthur looked around but did not see his best friend.

He clenched his fists tightly.

A sudden piercing ring interrupted me, drawing my, and everyone else's, attention.

The red-tinted barrier that surrounded the school shattered from above. The broken fragments of the barrier fluttered down, reflecting the vibrancy of the Aurora Constellation that was almost in full bloom, in the night sky; the bloodstained academy instantly turned into a scene from a fairytale.

Descending amongst the shimmering rain of the broken barrier shards were three figures. Even before I could make out their identities, the terrifying pressure they radiated told me exactly who they were.

The Lances.

Before I could even react to what he had said, a sudden surge of light was about to strike me but someone was even faster and defended me by standing in front of me.

The attack that made me tremble was like a toy for him. He stopped the attack of one of the lances with one finger.

[Rudolf Helstea's Pov]

"Is it not a little too much for the people responsible for the security of the civilians to attack the savior," I said.

I used physique physique-strengthening spell which made my body super strong coupled with my rank 6 realm I was almost invincible.

Meanwhile, the Lance that had attacked me had kneeled beside the crazy mage. He seemed to be fairly young—maybe in his late twenties—and looking closely at his face, from the high-bridged, straight nose up to his narrow eyes, there was a very distinct resemblance to the crazy mage.

All three lances raised an eyebrow as I was able to deflect one of the lance's attacks like it was nothing.

The other Lances trapped Sylvie in a dome of ice.

Even though every bone in my body felt like it was getting sawed in half and my head felt as if it had been punctured repeatedly, I was able to make a bit more sense of what was happening.

From her modestly curved figure and long white hair, the Lance that had trapped Sylvie in the cage of ice was female, and from the looks of it, Sylvie wasn't able to break or melt it. Despite the position I was in, I couldn't help but feel relieved that she had only been caged. It sure as hell beat the other options that the Lance could've chosen.

The dome that she had made to trap Sylvie was quite strong. But for me, it was still a little cute.

"Hey, Sylvie how are you? Remember me your big brother Rudolf."

Sylvie turned her attention towards me and calmed down it looked like it was communicating with Arthur through the mind to confirm my identity.

[Fire tornado]

A huge tornado of fire engulfed Sylvie but it did not hurt her but melted the ice around it.

Arthur and the Lances were surprised to see such precise control of mana. It should be noted that even they were not able to achieve such perfection.

The Lance that looked like the crazy mage again went to attack Arthur. Now he was getting on my nerves.

"Kneel."

The aura of the Rank 6 mage was not something ordinary mages could handle. The Lance knelt. He tried to resist but found his struggle futile. The other lances also tried to attack me but I blocked their flow of mana. I could do this but I only use it against worthy opponents.

The other lances were stuck in place unable to move an inch. They were now horrified that just who had they provoked.

He could kill them if he wanted to but if he did not it meant he had no ill intentions toward us. A huge pressure was coming from above they with great difficulty looked up at the sky but they did not see the black starry sky but a huge Sun. And the temperature around them started to increase. They moved their pupils and saw everyone was in awe but did not seem to have any discomfort in such intense heat.

It seemed they were the only ones affected, like he had formed a domain around them.
