Journey to the Milky Way

The following morning, the flight of Master Jon and Lady Margaret was organized.

Comrade Harper, who was facing the royal family at the Federal Council started to brief them.

Everyone watched.

"Master Jon. We picked the target. The destination galaxy is located along the spiral arm of the universe, about halfway to the center. This is the closest habitable planet the space probe had searched."

"How long can we reach it?" Lady Margaret questioned.

" The interstellar pathfinder can travel with the speed of light at 186,000 miles per seconds. More or less, thirty-eight light years, ma'am!"

"Can we survive that period?"

"You will travel in a time warp lying inside the bubble. You can watch spacetime carry the ship like a wave. However, you will be preserved in a tube and dose off basically hibernating during that time!"

"I see…I didn't give it much thought!"
