Chapter 4

Elsa quickly finished cleaning up and made her way downstairs to the hall where Anna was already waiting for her. "You seemed really concerned,Elsa. Is something wrong?" Anna asked.

"Yes,Anna, things are not going well,I feel like everything is falling apart,and I am in a terrible situation," Elsa replied, sitting down beside Anna and tears welled up in her eyes.

"Please tell me what happened and why you feel like your life is falling apart?" Anna inquired.

"Yesterday, during your birthday party,I met a man named Wilson whom I barely know. We spent time together drinking, dancing and eventually ended up spending the night together in a presidential suite upstairs. Where we had sex," Elsa replied.

"What happened then?" Anna asked. Elsa's tears increased and Anna tried to comfort her. However,Anna couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement because it seemed like her plan had unfolded, albeit in a different manner and with someone else involved.

Elsa tearfully explained, " The condom broke during intercourse,Anna, and I am not sure if he ejaculated inside of me. What's worse is that I'm not in my safe period for contraception,so I'm really scared that I might become pregnant." Her words were filled with fear and distress.

Anna was relieved when she realized that someone else had executed her original plan. Although she felt joyous inside,she didn't reveal it because Elsa was present. "Did you mention that the condom ripped? Why didn't you realize it?" Anna inquired.

" I got swept up,Anna. I'm doomed. I don't even recognize this man. I think you should know him since it was your birthday celebration we went to. He's tall,has a dark complexion and quite attractive. His name is Wilson. Are you familiar with him,Anna?" Elsa inquired.

However,Anna decided to keep Wilson's identity a secret from Elsa because she wanted Elsa to endure hardship and remain financially struggling. Revealing Wilson's identity might lead to him helping Elsa out of poverty,which Anna didn't want.

"I'm not familiar with him,I don't recall inviting anyone by that name. What if he accompanied someone I invited? Have you considered that?" Anna responded.

"You are right, perhaps he came with someone you invited. What should I do now? I don't have his contact information or address to search for him," Elsa said.

"Just stay calm, Elsa. He might seek you out, or perhaps fate will bring you two together," Anna reassured with a smile, embracing Elsa. " I have to head home now, Elsa. We will talk later," Anna added, getting up and leaving.

Alone in the hall,Elsa pondered her next steps since Anna couldn't identify Wilson. Her phone rang,and it was her mother, Mrs.George, calling to check on her whereabouts. After explaining that she spent the night at Lilian's place,Elsa hunged up and remembered to inform Lilian to cover up for her Incase her mum called and to tell her about what had happened to her.

She hesitated calling Lilian,knowing that Lilian had cautioned her about the party. Nevertheless,Elsa gathered courage and called Lilian,who was more experienced in matters of relationship and intimacy.

"Hey,Lilian. I need your help.I told my mom I stayed at your place, just in case she asks," Elsa said. "Sure.How was the party?" Lilian replied.

"Lilian,it was not good. I'm in trouble. I had a sexual encounter with a man I barely know at Anna's party. The worst is that the condom tore and I'm not in my safe period regarding contraception. He left without any information about himself," Elsa informed.

" Wait,you slept with someone you don't know,and the condom tore? I warned you about that part multiple times,Elsa. You didn't listen to my advice and now you see where it has led you," Lilian responded with concern.

"I'm really sorry, Lilian.I should have heeded your advice. I got carried away with the idea of enjoying myself as an adult,but now I regret everything," Elsa said tearfully. "It's okay,Elsa.

What have you done about the torn condom?" Lilian asked. "Nothing, Lilian. I don't know what to do, which is why I reached out to you since you have more experience than myself," Elsa replied.

" Here's what you need to do,Elsa. Go to the pharmacy and ask for a contraceptive pill called Postinor. It's taken after unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy," Lilian advised drawing from her own experiences.

"Okay,thank you so much, Lilian. I will follow your advice," Elsa said gratefully before the call ended, bringing her some relief.

Back at home,Anna shared Elsa's story with her friends Venessa and Sarah,who found amusement in Elsa's situation, eagerly awaiting the outcome of her one-night stand with Wilson.

Meanwhile, Wilson returned home puzzled about the torn condom,considering himself adept at using contraceptives. Though concerned, he wasn't overly worried since he lacked Elsa's contact information,and likewise,Elsa knew little about him.

Unfortunately,when Elsa went to purchase the Postinor,she found it too expensive and couldn't afford it immediately. She decided to gather more funds to buy the contraceptive.

Two days later, Elsa's Father,Mr.George gave her some money for her expenses, which she promptly used to purchase the contraceptive. She took it, hoping it wasn't too late to prevent any unwanted outcomes.

Few days after taking the contraceptive,she started feeling unwell and became so worried that she couldn't go to school . She quickly called Lilian to inform her.

Elsa called Lilian and told her she already took the contraceptive but was feeling unwell and Lilian asked her if it was the same day she took the contraceptive but Elsa told her it was two days later. Lilian was so disappointed in Elsa because this would be the second time she did not heed her advice.

" Elsa, what's the problem actually? You ignore my advice and when a problem arises,you start calling me," Lilian said angrily.
