Chapter 2

Prior to Elsa's sexual encounter with Wilson ,Elsa is a beautiful and intelligent lady, who lives in Maryland with her family. Coming from an impoverished background,she faces challenges in funding her college education due to her parent's financial limitations.

Mrs George, Elsa's mother, recommended that she get a low-paying job to support herself through college because she didn't want her to be uneducated like herself and her husband, Elsa's Dad.

Elsa gained admission to St. Charles's College,a top-tier institution in Maryland to study Estate management. However,she faced financial challenges with tuition fee and registration fees. Following her mother's advice,she began working as a cleaner in a mall and took on a job as a delivery person,transporting items to customers' homes.

Three months into juggling these low-paying jobs,she managed to gather enough funds for her tuition and registration fees.Despite this achievement,she continued working these jobs as she had ongoing expenses to cover throughout her time in school.

However, Elsa resumed school and started attending classes.Being a new student,she was still adjusting to the school environment and getting to know her fellow students in her department.

During a lecture one day,the lecturer posed a question to the class,but no one else could answer except Elsa. All eyes turned towards her to see who she was.

Following the lecture,a young lady of similar age approached Elsa. "Hello, I'm Lilian. I am a new student in this department. How about you?" Lilian inquired. "I'm Elsa,I am also a new student. It's nice to meet you, Lilian," Elsa responded.

Lilian complimented Elsa saying ' You seem quite intelligent the way you answered MR. Melse's challenging question in the class. Would you like us to be friends?' Elsa replied,' Of course,I haven't made any friends since I arrived,so that sounds good to me.'

Ever since,Elsa and Lilian developed a strong friendship , sitting together in classes and collaborating on assignments. Their bond grew so tight that others mistook them for sisters.

Anna, much like Elsa and Lilian,is a recent addition to the student body.She happens to be the daughter of Mr. Rockford,a prominent figure in Maryland due to his ownership of one of the largest companies in the state.

However,Anna's behavior in class is marked by bullying tendencies, particularly directed towards those who lack the same privileges as hers.

Despite this,Anna,who is an extroverted student,took the initiative to approach Elsa with her group of friends. She introduced herself by saying,"Hey, I noticed you're also new here like us. I'm Anna,and these are my friends," Indicating Venessa and Sarah, who were standing with her dressed similarly.

Elsa responded, "it's nice to meet you." However,Anna replied angrily saying, "There's nothing nice about meeting you because you act like you know everything in this class. Here's is a bit of advice: my father holds significant influence in this state and this school. I could easily ask him to have you expelled. So, it's better for you to keep a low profile."

Anna whispered, "I'm sharing this with you because I understand your background,so carry yourself with dignity," and then she stormed off. "Ignore her,Elsa. She picks on others because her father wields power in the school," Lilian explained.

"It's okay. There would be a time when fortune changes for my family," Elsa responded confidently.

One afternoon,Anna was driving her car when she spotted Elsa walking alone towards the bus stop. Anna remarked, "I notice you don't have a car, which explains why you are walking. Oh,right,your parents can barely provide for you, let alone afford a car or tuition fees." She chuckled mockingly as she splashed water on Elsa from her car before driving away.

After Anna's hurtful words,Elsa shed tears but kept walking towards the bus stop to head home. Upon reaching home,she discovered there was no food available. Determined to feed her younger siblings and herself, she went to a nearby mall to purchase some food.

While at the mall,Elsa noticed a movie playing. The film depicted a Lady facing extreme poverty,yet through her determination to attend school,she eventually graduated and improved life for her family and herself. Muttering to herself,Elsa whispered, "if it could happen for her,it can happen for me too."

Upon arriving home, Richard and Emma,her younger siblings,enjoyed the fast food she had purchased. Elsa, unable to eat,was preoccupied with thoughts about Anna's actions towards her earlier and the movie she had watched at the mall. The movie resonated deeply with Elsa as it mirrored her own experiences, leaving her feeling inspired.

The following day at school,Anna approached Elsa and apologized for her actions the day before. However,Elsa silently walked away, leaving Anna embarrassed and rejected.

Anna was recounting to her friends Venessa and Sarah, "Can you believe I apologized to that girl who has no money, and she decided to humiliate me?" Venessa responded, " Take it easy,Anna. She's probably still upset with you. Maybe you should ask her friend Lilian to talk to her for you."

"I like that plan. I'll approach her through her friend Lilian, but I'll also address Elsa directly soon.

This apology is just the first step in my strategy," Anna declared.

"Thank you Lillian I knew I could count on you", said Anna. Immediately Anna and her friends left, Elsa came into the class looking very worried "Hey Lilian what's going on with you? Hope you are doing great today", said Elsa. "I am good, how about you? By the way,Anna and her friends just left. Anna asked I plead with you to forgive her for everything she did to you", replied Lilian.

Elsa, who was already worried, stared at Lilian for some minutes before speaking.
