The Fire spirit king "Asmolodous?!".

August knows all that, and it was also because of this reason  he couldn't  help but be somewhat  nervous to summon Asmolodous, he wasn't afraid as he know for sure that no matter how much prideful and childish Asmolodous may be , he won't ever destroy the world  he natured himself.

But it can't be said for the people in the stronghold too, it was true that asmolodous won't harm August in any way, but what about the other people present  here or  in the range of five miles, what about them?

August isn't a hermit nor a saint, he is a type of person who will save himself before others, and that is also what he is doing now.

Elemental spirits are the natural predator of demons, and the same goes for the spirit warriors , even if they can't thoroughly  destroy demons ,they surely could weaken them to a pitiful state specially the five element formation, which could kill hundreds of demons instantly.

It can be said that among all the humans stronghold spirit land or stronghold 45 is the most powerful force  against demons.

And August doesn't want to lose such a powerful force, because of his incompetence.

August doesn't hold infinite prowess,  he doesn't even have the ability to express himself in front of others, the only thing he has is his identity of the world itself.

"Hmm, can I really convince him."

"Will he really help me to protect the world?"

"He won't destroy everything after seeing me, right?"

August once again thought to himself before summoning Asmolodous.

"Well, fuck it if I really won't be able to do such an small taks, then I might as well as forfeit from all these". Said August in irritation.

He shifted his view as if he was standing atop the magic circle, he inhaled fresh air and breath out to steady himself.

"Let's do this.", with that said August  started chanting the inscription to summon a spirit.

"Fire spirit king Asmolodous this humble servant of your request your cooperation to save the world! "

Concluded August, with these worlds he shifted his view atop the magic circle.

There wasn't any reaction on the magic circle it remained the same as it was before, seeing that August could sighed.

Summoning a spirit required mana, an ancient  source of  energy present in the summoner body.

But for August it is almost impossible to use or wield mana in his current state, August decided to leave and come up with  another solution that could help him summon the elemental spirit that admits that without use of mana.

But just as he was about to teleport to another place an strange phenomenon shook the entire place.

August as the world itself could feel everything, the volcano outside the temple suddenly erupted  with a huge boom, the overflowing  magma melted the  land near the temple like water did to soil.

The people outside the temple started to worry in confusion and shock.

"What's happening  said one of them.!"

"What was that shook just a moment ago."

"And why did the Volcano erupted all of a sudden, before it's calculated time!?"

"We should inform this higher up, shouldn't we?"

"Yeah, let's go."

"Yup."

With that said they left the temple to discuss the strange occurrence  with their seniors.

They were confused as well shocked due to sudden eruption and earthquake and also somewhat afraid  as well.

August was also shocked due to a sudden earthquake, for others it might be just an earthquake but for him it was like a wound on his immortal body.

After hundred  and thirty years it was the first time when August felt pain once again though it only amounted to that of piercing a needle into once skin.

But even before he could preserve that feeling he heard a childish voice inside his head.

"So you are  the new heir of the world, huh?"

August looked into his consciousness and was shocked to see the latter.

From the moment August got reborn in this world the only thing he could see around was the darkness, he spent 100 years of lifetime within it.

Even when he heard zezen emotionless and cold voices, the darkness don't fade  away, so August assumed that  the darkness was part of his new body and he would most likely live with it for his whole life.

But now he was aghast and shell shocked to see the  same darkness  fading  away.

His inner consciousness brightened up   with  yellow light instead of darkness for the first time.

And the whole reason behind this unbelievable phenomenon is a small child of fire floating in the middle of his consciousness.

August observed the small child which is almost covered in fire just like a small version of the painting in the temple.

"Huh?"

"Wait, what!!!!"

As if a sudden thought struck  him August asked the small child with nervousness and confusion.

"Are you by chance,  Asmolodous?!"

Asked August not to believe it himself.

But the child's answer shocked him.

"Yeah, do you harbour doubt, even though  you are the one who called me." Said Asmolodous with a cold voice.

"Wtf!!!!"

"How could he appear inside my consciousness."

"And more than that how could that mighty and arrogant Asmolodous be such a small child?!"

August thought to himself, but unbeknownst to him the child he was talking about is actually listening to all this.

And he is sure digging his own Grave.

 Spirit realm, Fire land.

Inside the castle.

The whole castle is shining with holy light , the time itself is paused within the castle.

Beside his throne the Mighty Asmolodous is currently kneeling on the ground in front of a humanoid figure surrounded by holy light.

The holy light that surrounds the humanoid body is so bright and majestic that is it almost impossible for anyone to see the actual figure inside it.

" Asmolodous, as you might know  that I have already ascend to upper world to fight the evil. Said the humanoid figure in cold tone without a hint of emotion in it." 

"Yes, master". Answered asmolodous with utmost  respect toward the figure.

"With my departure the forces of evil again started to thrive in the lower world in hope to destroy it, but unlike  last time, this time we decided to choose a human to stooped the evil in their path." said the humnoind figure in the same cold voice.

But unlike the figure who was completely unaffected by his own  statement Asmolodous received a huge shock the moment he heard that the term human.

He was shocked but he didn't dare to utter a single  word in front of the humanoid being but unbeknownst to him the humanoid figure answered him , as if he had actually read  Asmolodous thoughts.

"I know what you are thinking."

"Why did we choose the human, the most insignificant and lower being in the universe, right?" Asked the humanoid being.

Asmolodous didn't dare to nod his head nor speak; he just agreed with the figure in his mind.

"Well, actually I don't know that either." Said the humanoid figure after a pause.

Asmolodous became speechless once again he lifted his head to say something to the humanoid figure but then he instantly lowered his head again.

"Hahaha, you don't have to be so fearful child I am not here to scold you or something!" conveyed the humanoid figure with a smile.

"Instead I am here today to request your help to guide that human and fight the forces of evil alongside him."

Asmolodous didn't say anything but inside his mind he was thinking.

"Why me won't xexon be the  most suitable one for this job moreover he also liked humans."

Again as if the humanoid figure read Asmolodous thoughts again he replied with a sigh.

"Child you are still bound by the shackles of your pride that is also  why you are the only who still haven't  to ascend to the upper world despite being the powerful in all of them."

Asmolodous didn't say anything but it doesn't mean he wasn't angry.

"Listen carefully now, that human has been provided three lifetimes to familiarise himself with his new prowess and body, But because he is an human he ignored the instructions manual left behind for him and wasted his first life and was only to merge his consciousness with the world."

"But he also admitted his mistake and decided to take this more seriously this time."

The humanoid figure paused for some time before continuing.

"But because he is human, he is weak and lacks too much imagination. That is why I was sent here to convey this message to you so you could help the human so that he could fight the evil and then realise his true goal."

Asmolodous finally nodded his head but inside he was heartbroken he was happy to see his former master once again but was saddened to know that he was here for a reason but not to meet him.

Seeing Asmolodous   the bright holy light started to disperse little by little while  the  humanoid body inside the light began  to  disappear into the void.

Asmolodous just kneeled on the ground without even looking at the dissipating figure.

"Also, I wanted you to ascend to the upper world as fast as you can because I really need my powerful weapon back  in my arsenal."

With these words the figure completely disappeared into the void, Asmolodous on the other hand became surprised after listening to his master's last  words and then he smiled and said in a low tone.

"Wait for me master."
