Perfect Timing

Lucas just finished dropping me off. I checked my phone and saw Madison had finally responded to my pictures I sent her earlier. She sent a thumbs up emoji for the crab and a heart emoji of the picture of me and Lucas.

I decided to call her.

"Hey Madison." I said

"Hi Luna."

"Where are you?" I asked

"Well I didn't want to bother you while you were on your date but we're officially in Canada." she said cheerfully

"That's awesome, send me some pictures." I said

"Oh don't worry I will later. Right now Juilan is figuring out what cabin he's renting for us." she said

"Okay, sounds good." I said

I hung up with Madison. Later I would tell them all about my date. Julian and Madison didn't know Lucas took me out to breakfast and took me to a movie. How dreamy. I was daydreaming of mine and Lucas's next date when all of the sudden I heard a knock at the door.

Did Lucas really come back? Was he that obsessed with me? I went over to the door and opened the door. Standing there was a woman I've never seen before. I was about to ask her who she was but before I could she gave me a big hug. The hell?

"Honey, you look so much older than I last saw you." she said

"Remind me who you are." I told the woman

"Luna, it's me, your mother." she said

"Mom!" I screamed with excitement

"I've missed you so much darling." she said

"Wait, how were you able to be here?" I asked

"God agreed to let me visit you." she said

"Awesome, but why is it this time you look so different?" I asked

"Oh that's simple because everytime you visit earth you automatically change to look different than you did before. God made this happen after angels came down to earth, fell in love then made love to the humans." she told me

"That's smart of him." I said

Even though I was grossed out by the fact. Oh shit that reminds me I don't know if I should tell mom about Lucas or not.

"So what have you been up to?'" she asked

I saw this coming.

"Oh, I recently made a new friend." I said

"I thought you weren't supposed to be focusing on friends. You're supposed to use this time wisely making the most important decision in your existence." she snapped

Yah that was definitely a no about telling mom about Lucas.

"That's not what I meant." I said

"What did you mean then?" she asked

I took her upstairs to my room and showed her my little kitten that wasn't a little kitten anymore.

"This right here is Sheep. Isn't she cute?" I asked

"Aww she's adorable. Cerberus would be jealous if he knew about Sheep." she said laughing

"I think he's fine after all, dad's always spending time with him." I said

"True, now can I see Madison before I head back?" she asked

I'm not going to let her know where Madison is.

"Oh she's not here, she left to enjoy herself and I told her to have fun." I said without lying

"Oh too bad. I guess I'll have to catch her next time." she told me

I gave her a hug and kissed her goodbye. It was sure nice seeing mom again.
