✓ Mind Eraser

“Man, it’s been such a long time since I have seen you here.” Ace says as he plops down beside me with his drink.

“I was just caught up in my work nothing else.” I said

“Right, you and your work are inseparable.” Michael said. I just smirked

He is right for me and my work is inseparable. I love what I do there is nothing better than that. All I want in life is to be at the top because either you are at the top of the chain or you are like a speck of dust.

I took a sip of my drink and looked around. The club is filled with people as always all drinking like there is no tomorrow, people dancing brushing against it other covered all in sweat.

Ace has owned this place for 5 years now and it's one of the biggest clubs around. I, Ace and our other friends Michael and Aiden are on the first floor which is a VIP section there is a lobby with a couch set from where one can have a look of the ground floor.

I turned my attention to what others were saying.

“Will was to be here half an hour ago. It’s his birthday for god sake can’t he be on time for once. The night has already started and I can’t even have an original drink.” Michael said while gulping down his wine.

We reached the club after a long time as we live on the outskirts of the city. Enzo, Will, Jeremy and Josh were ahead of us in Will's car and we were in Cal’s car following them.

The club is a huge one and to be honest, I don’t know how Will got passes to this club for all of us in such a short time. As we entered the place it was already crowded and people were all looking drunk this early. There is a dance floor in the middle where people were going all crazy brushing against each other all sweaty as loud music blasts.

We all headed towards the bar. As Will said that everyone has to have one shot of his favourite drink for his birthday. We waited as he ordered for all. I stood against the bar table and watched around.

“Did I mention that you look beautiful?” I got startled as Enzo spoke beside me. I didn’t notice him beside me.

“You didn’t.” I said, “ But cal said that I look hot, so do I look beautiful or hot?” I asked

I looked at me for a few second, then smiled and said “Both, this look suits you.”

“Thank you” I said with a smile.

“Here, My Lady.” Will said, offering me a dark coke like looking shot.

And everyone tossed for Will ‘FOR GETTING ONE YEAR CLOSE TO DEATH AND A STEP UP IN HIS IMMATURITY’ I chuckled, shaking my head at them and gulping down my shot. It sent burning sensation down my throat, but that’s not what matters it tasted like

“COFFEE!” I exclaimed out a little loud.

“What is this, it's amazing?” I asked Will as he laughed at my expression.

“It is called Mind Eraser.” He said

“Wow, it is awesome.” I said. There was this intoxication of vodka blended with coffee and is actually a ‘mind eraser’.

I see everyone gulping down their 2nd and 3rd shots. I decided to stay sober so as to take us all home and I also have college and work tomorrow and hangover can’t get along with it.

“Come along.” Will shouted on top of music putting his hand around both Jeremy and Josh, Enzo following them. Cal was trying to stop D from having another shot and following others I was not far behind them.

Will took us to a door and upstairs. Wait their was another floor I didn’t notice that. Taking a left we headed towards a couch set on the further most corner. A few guys are sitting there. Looking around I realized it is the VIP section.

“Thank god, you finally decided to show up, I thought I was going to be all sober till dawn.” A guy with his dark hair up in a bun spoke while patting Will’s back a little too hard.

“Just waiting for the companies you see.” Will said nodding his head towards us.

“This is Jeremy, Josh, Cal, Enzo.’ He said gesturing to each one of them.

“And these beautiful ladies here are D and Adi.” He said gesturing towards us.

“And they are Michael, Aiden, Ace’’ he said, gesturing to them.

“ This club is owned and managed by him.” Will said gesturing to the Ace guy.

“It’s a great place.” I said admiringly and it truly was.

“Thank you.” He said slightly bowing.

“You should not take that pride in just managing a place with drunken, out minded people.” A guy whom Will didn’t introduce yet said, showing his disappointment clearly.

His Jet black hair is messily set back with few strands coming out as if he had run his hand through it many times. His facial hair is trimmed showing out his sharp jawline perfectly. He is well built I can see his muscles on arms through his black leather jacket and broad shoulders, and he is tall I can tell that even though he is sitting lazily on the couch. But what caught me are...

Those deep Electric Blue eyes in which one can dive and drown. They held me in place staring at them.

And he broke eye contact. I look away blinking. Why was I staring?

We all are sitting on the couch with everyone basically drowning in alcohol. Michael and D were competing as to who can drink more shots. Rest are not as drunk as them but are for sure not sober even. Except for me and Josh, he didn’t drink to avoid his drunken ‘episode’. And even the blue eye guy from earlier.

I can’t help but sneak a glance towards him and as if sensing my eyes on him he turns his eyes towards me and I quickly look away. There is something terribly wrong with me.

After a few more drinks D was almost passed out. So we all moved out to go home dragging them out of the club god I’m never gonna stand up for being sober when they are drunk, I would prefer a hangover over all this.

Dragging all of them out one by one and towards the car, settling them in. Josh carried D to the car as she already puked once and I’m not good around people when they puke. With everyone settled we went to our cars.

And I glanced back and met with those electric orbs. I stared at them for a few seconds long, then turned and drove away.

It took hell more to get them out of the car and in the house letting them be in the living room and taking D to her room and left her there. Then I went to my room getting changed and removing my makeup.

I sighed as I settled down on the bed. I feel tired by dragging them all. They own me and Josh one. I let myself sleep.

And as I closed my eyes I found those electric eyes staring back at me. I immediately opened my eyes and shook my head to get those blue orbs away and tried to sleep ignoring those blue eyes.
