Layla, still in her wolf form, leaps into the oncoming horde of demons and tears through them as though they pose no threat and hold nothing against her. With every step she takes, blackened paw prints are left in her wake as whatever is beneath her crumbles to ash. 

My blade is slack against my side and my eyes are watching her every move. The ground is smoldering under her touch and I can't be bothered to hide my surprise at the sight. 

Her fur is covered in blood, both from those she has killed and from the deep wound that is only partially healed on her shoulder.
