Chapter 3 Patrolling/Ball talk

I woke up this morning thinking about what Liam said about throwing a ball and inviting all unmated wolfs from packs. I am going to talk to mom today about it. Time to get out of bed and get ready for today. I am gonna go patrolling first with the guys. Well, let me go shower then go eat breakfast. So that is what I do get up shower and brush my teeth and head down to breakfast.

Good Moring mom and dad. I said.

Good Morning son. Dad said.

Good Morning sweetie. Mom said.

What are you doing today? Dad asked.

I am going to patrol with the guys. Mom later can I talk to you about something? I said.

Sure son, I will be around today. She said.

Okay great. I said.

I eat and make small talk with my parents. I get up wash my dish and say bye to my parents and head to meet the guys.

I head outside to see Liam and Asher talking. I walk up to them.

What's up, guys? I said.

Not much just talking about the ball. Did you talk to your mom yet? Liam said.

No, I told her I will talk to her after are patrolling in done. I said.

Okay, do you wanna go? Liam said.

We all go behind a tree and shift into our wolfs. Liam is a brown wolf and black eyes, Asher is a light brown wolf with grey eyes. I change into my black wolf with black eyes.

Once we are all changed. We start running. We also play around and have fun.

Liam links me telling me he smells a rouge and one that ain't a rouge.

I link back and tell him lets go check it out. We start to run in that direction and I get a smell of the wonderful scent of strawberries and watermelon.

When we get to the spot I see a brown wolf with brown eyes and a silver wolf with crystal blue eyes. Liam shifts and asks them to shift. They shift behind a tree and come back.

What are you doing on our territory? Liam said.

Sorry, we didn't know we crossed the territory. Layla said

One of you smells like rouge and one doesn't. Liam said.

Sorry, I don't want to be in a pack but I am friends with her who is. James said.

What pack are you from? Liam said.

Diamond Heart pack my father is the Alpha. Layla said.

Okay, I will let you go please beware where you go. Liam said.

Thank you. They said.

She shifted and ran off with her friend. I didn't like she was with another male wolf. But I won't let her find out until the ball.

Let's head back guys I wanna talk to mom about this ball. I said.

Okay. They said.

We get back and sit down hoping mom is around. Liam, have you seen my mom?

Yes, she told me to tell you she will be here soon. He said.

Okay, thank you. I said.

After about 5 minutes of talking to Liam mom came in.

Hey mom how are you? I said.

I am good son. what did you want to talk about? She said.

Well, last night Liam said something about having a ball and inviting all unmated wolfs. What do you think about it? I said.

Well son I think it would be a great idea. How about I plan it? She said.

Sounds like a plan. I said.

We can have it in 2 weeks. does that sound good? She said.

Yes perfect. I said.

Mom is dad friend with the Diamond Heart pack. I said.

Yes, he is very close we are allies with them. They have a daughter and the Alpha and Luna took in her 3 best friends when their parents died protecting the girls from rouges. She said.

Okay, thank you mom I am going to sleep. I said.

She left and I went to my room and stripped to my boxers. Laying down thinking of that wonderful girl Layla. Until sleep over took me.
