Jay felt Daisy slipping further and further away from him.
He tried everything to keep her near him.
He made love to her as softly as he could, and then some nights he let her know, with such fierceness, that she was his everything.
Yet that wasn't enough.
She danced more frequently now within the moon's light.
Even as the nights grew colder and longer, Daisy stayed out under the moon's glow. She conversed to the figure up in the sky.
One time Jay had asked her what she talked of.
"She tells me about the sun, and I tell her about you."
Jay thought it a strange coincidence that the moon and sun were deemed lovers. Always chasing the other. It reflected back to him and Daisy.
When he told Daisy of his thoughts she reflected and laugh at him, "You're smarter than a human-panda hybrid, hot stuff."
