Alpha Hannah

*Book-One of the Alpha female series. I peer out the window and watch as the rain pours down and listening as it bashes against the window and collides with the ground. I'd always preferred Autumn it is just so mesmerising to me how beautiful everything looks as it dies and how warm the snow looks as it covers everything in a thick blanket. I just wish I could reach out and touch it or dance in the rain, but that's just not an option for me. It never was. Hannah Rosalie Summer, a girl that’s smart, compassionate and a little bit crazy. But there’s more to her story, she’s hasn’t experienced the real world since she was seven. Sure she’s learned about it, but the internet can only teach you so much. The closest she can get to free is when she climbs up to the roof to watch the stars when her mother’s asleep. Come on the rollercoaster of emotions as Hannah explores the world and stumbles across something she thought was only in fairy tales her mother and father read to her when she was but a child. I hope to see you there...

Chapter Five

I groaned as I started to wake up to hushed voices, "shh five more minutes" then I'll get up. I started to snuggle more into the warmth of the blanket, wait blanket? What in the- Shit.

My eyes snap open only for the light to make me shut them again and hiss. Okay what is it with me making animal noises lately, I open my eyes again to see Anna and a man who looks exactly like her. "Now look what you did, stupid" Anna said hitting him up the back of the head.

"Jeez calm down woman, it's not my fault" he said rubbing the back of his head. A was about to comment on it further but I beat her to it.

"Who's this Anna" I asked sitting up while rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.

"Hannah meet my annoying pain in the ass, Jason. He's my brother but I think you could already tell that" she said letting out a giggle at the end. She's not wrong thought I could tell they where sibling they look exactly the same with their brown hair and grey eyes, the only difference is that Jason has a sharper jaw and he's taller than Anna's 5,6 form at around 5,11 foot. He looks around 19.

"It's nice to meet you Jason" I said offering him a smile which he returned.

"You too" he said still smiling.

"Sorry for falling asleep earlier on you Anna, do you mind if we continue from where we were" I asked now focusing on Anna.

"It's okay Hannah and yeah where were we I kind of forgot to be honest" Anna said.

"You were about to explain why you did this to me" I said, I can feel the anger I had felt towards Anna from earlier try to resurface. But I'm trying to push it down as far as possible. I Think Anna can tell because she starts to get nervous.

"Well you see" she said sitting down across of me, her brother following her shortly after. "A pack member saw you sleeping under a tree on our territory and told our alpha, Aaron. And the following night our Alpha and a couple of pack members, including our beta went out to check you out. We are currently trying to build our numbers higher, so when our beta saw that you were healthy he decided to mind link our Alpha to ask for permission to turn you. Our Alpha who was watching the scene unfold from afar gave him the okay and then you know the rest" she said.

"Wait, wait, wait. The fuck is mind linking" I asked I'm so confused right now.

"Mind linking is something werewolf's can do where we basically can talk to people through our minds" Jason said this time. What in the all things holy, the fuck. wait.

"Wait, you can't read my mind can you" I ask sitting back a bit. Anna and Jason start laughing slightly.

"No, Hannah we cannot read you mind" Anna said still laughing.

"Oh, thank god" I said letting out a sigh.

"Do you have any more questions" Jason asked. I thought about it for minute but then decided vie learned enough for one day.

"No not right now, I think I've learned enough for one day" I said.

"You've got a point there, why don't I show you around" Anna said shifting to the edge of her seat.

"Sure, why not" I said peeling the blanket off of me and standing up while stretching.

"Jason do you want to come," Anna asked her brother while walking over to the door that we came in earlier today.

"Sure why not" he said following his sister, me following shortly after.

*One hour later*

"And lastly this is the kitchen, we have chefs that make dinner but we make breakfast and all ourselves. Everyone has to clean up after themselves, or they get in trouble" Anna said finally finishing off the tour, this place is a lot bigger than one would think. When Anna was showing me around people would give me curios glances. But I couldn't shake the feeling like someone was following us, I thought I was just being silly. But then I saw someone in the shadows, watching my every move. It must just be a fragment of my imagination, right? I thought about telling Anna but I decided against it, I don't need her thinking I'm crazy right now. "You hungry" she said pulling me out of my train of thoughts.

"Mhm" I said frowning my eyebrows looking at the ground. What if someone was watching me.

"Owe I've interrupted an important thought haven't I" Anna said popping her bottom lip.

"No no not at all" I said flopping my hand weirdly.

"Okay..." Anna said unsure, "do you want me to make you eggs" Anna said already walking over to a cupboard and bringing out a pan.

"No it's okay, I'm not hungry" I said. I could feel someone watching me again, I looked around me but I can't see anyone. The window, their probably out there. Feeling uncomfortable I cross my arms over my chest.

"You sure Hannah, you haven't eaten today" Anna asked looking at me with a worried expression evident on her face.

"Yeah, I'm just tired is all" I said as I faked yawned.

"I can take you to where you'll be sleeping if you want" Jason suggested as he stood up from leaning against the worktop. I kind of forgot he was here still.

"Sure if you don't mind" I said.

"Not at all, come on" he said and started to walk out of the kitchen.

He led me up three stair cases and down a hall with five doors the one at the end had a plaque that said 'office'. Jason stopped outside a door at the end at the hall, "this is you" he said.

"Thanks" I said and went to open the door before Jason started to speak again.

"Look Hannah, I want to be here for you. I understand that this is a lot to take in and you might feel overwhelmed, but I just want you to know that I'm here if you ever need anything. Anything at all, no matter how silly you might think it is. I'm just a floor down the second door on the right and Anna's is facing mine" Jason said.

"Thanks Jason, I appreciate it I do. It just might take time" I said looking down.

"I understand that, I do. Take as long as you need" he said.

"Thank you Jason" I said looking up at him.

"See you around I guess" he said stepping back.

"See you around" I said laughing slightly, I can tell we are going to be close. I turned around again and opened the door, I felt around the dark room near the door for a light switch and turned it on. It was the same room I had woken up in earlier today, my bag was on the bed. I walked over to the window and shut the curtains so no one could see in. I then got my PJ's out of my bag and got changed and slipped into bed after turning off the big light and turning on the one on the drawer beside the bed.

What have I gotten myself into, like werewolf's seriously Hannah? I couldn't just have normal life, like going to school and then getting a job. No I had to get sucked into the supernatural, I'm starting to think it's impossible for me to lead a normal life or normal anything for that matter.

I started to feel droughty so I turned off the light and soon I was in a sleep filled with werewolves and all the possibility of what's to come. If only they could have prepared me for what was to come...
