"Supreme Alpha Jake, it's an honor to have you in our pack. I will do everything in my power to ensure your visit here would be a pleasant one," Damien said as he shook the Alpha's hand.
He had a smile plastered on his face, the best one he could muster. Alpha Jake was all smiles himself.
"Thank you for hosting us, Alpha Damien. Allow me to introduce my daughter, Carmen. She's a huge fan of yours," The elder Alpha spoke with a deep voice.
Safira watched on, her expression unchanged as the exchange continued. She could feel the power the Supreme Alpha exude. Everyone could feel it. Some even shuddered.
But Safira did not. With the blood of the Ancients flowing through her veins, she did not fear any form of authority. She did not fear the authority of an Alpha or a Supreme Alpha.
Deep down in her gut, something felt off. But Safira could not pinpoint what it was.
