CHAPTER -12 Rolex past

Diana's mind continued contemplating on the decision she needed to make tonight. Was she to leave and set herself free in order to avenge her parents and sister's death, or was she to stay and find out about the Alpha's past?

Already in jean pant and a yellow tank top, she grabbed a jean jacket along and then walked out of the room. To take a cool breeze and think about her decision was what she needed right now.

Since it was close to darkness, Diana found somewhere to rest her butt and gaze at the sky. Her mind wandered to her family, and the time when she was little. She remembered running around the house but no kids wanted to play with her. She was always alone and all by herself since most kids were afraid of her because her father was the Alpha.

All her life, while growing up, Diana only knew one person except her parents, and that was her sister. Jamie meant a lot, so much more to Diana than anyone else in the world since their parents died.

The years they both spent in the hands of being Kira's slave, Jamie had taken the whole blame for whatever wrong things she did.

She recollected the first day she tried to run away, and go live a free life outside, but Jamie had promised her freedom no matter what.

Something such as her freedom had to cost the life of her sister. Diana curled up her tiny hands as she recollected her sister's throat being slited by Kira. So ruthlessly, that there was no remorse in her eyes.

Knowing fully well that she was becoming a stronger wolf with each passing day, Diana raised her eyes again at the sky and made a vow to go find Kira wherever she may be.

She saw beta's shadow coming closer to her, and immediately rubbed clean the salty tears on her face.

"You should be getting ready Diana." He said, taking a seat as well close to her.

"Wouldn't it be too risky? The Alpha's back and without a distraction, we have not even the slightest chance of escaping."

"Leave the worrying to me Diana. All you need to do is get ready when I come for you. Take along some useful things." He said.

Diana got up, and walked away in order to go get ready to be on the run with beta tonight. When she raised her hand to take a quick look at her wristwatch, something really didn't feel right to her.

As Beta got back into the house, he met Alpha Rolex slouching on the couch in a drunken state. He smiled looking at him so miserably that it made him shook his head.

Then again, he walked out of the room to go execute his plans.

"You, you, and you Bella, come with me." Beta said, pointing at them one after the other. They all trailed behind him as he walked away immediately.

Once they all got into the living room, they lowered their heads at the presence of Alpha Rolex.

The Alpha wasn't asleep, so he turned his head weakly to stare at everyone staring back at him.

"Alpha, here are ladies befitting to serve you and pleasure you tonight." Beta said,

When Rolex heard it, he sat upright on the couch to take a look at the ladies. They were nice, with huge curves just the way he likes. His eyes studied their body so well before he came to a decision.

"Good Beta, take them to the room, I'll be there in a second." Rolex said.

Beta smiled once he turned around to walk away with the ladies behind him. And when he got up the stairs, he gazed back again to see Alpha Rolex trailing behind him too. Tonight, everything was going just as planned.

The moment Alpha Rolex got into the room with the ladies, Beta ensured to close the door properly as he stepped out.

He waited for a bit, and when he heard the Alpha say "Take off your clothes." To the ladies, he took steps backwards in satisfaction.

Diana sat on the bed, patiently waiting for Beta's arrival. She was still with a frown on her face,as she is yet to come up with a decision whether to leave the Alpha or not.

Diana was sure something wanted her to stay back here, but she had no idea what. Could it be that the world was dangerous, and without someone powerful by your side, then you'll be unable to survive? Diana thought, but again, when she thought about her destiny, and what she needed to do to find her parents' killer, she heaved.

Just when Diana was finally convincing herself that she needed to go, her inner wolf spoke to her.

This was the second time Maya, her wolf was speaking to her.

"Stay back, and wait patiently for the right time to find your parents' killer." Maya warned.

Diana heard her loud and clear, but patience wasn't something Diana was friends with.

Her freedom matters a lot more than any feelings in her heart. The freedom to roam about like every over wolf out there, and not be owned by anyone mattered a lot.

"I should take the risk. Staying back here and doing nothing won't help me in finding who destroyed my pack, and killed my parents as well as Kira." Diana said immediately.

Before her wolf could speak to her again, the door creaked open slowly and Beta walked in. This caused Diana to smile as it only meant one thing- the Alpha was distracted with something else.

"Are you ready?" Beta asked, taking steps closer to her as she sat on the bed.

Diana nodded her head in agreement to the question he asked, but as she tried to stand up from the bed, he made her sit back on it.

She gave him a shocked look, wondering why he just did that.

"Is anything wrong?" Diana asked, staring at him, and waiting for a quick answer.

The looks beta was giving to her wasn't really sitting well with her, but Diana wanted to be for the very first time patient with him.

When it comes to beta alone, she finds herself being patient. "Aren't we leaving anymore?" Diana asked again, when it was taking too much time for him to answer her first question.

"No rushing Diana. We have the whole time in the world to escape while the Alpha is being pleasured by some sex slaves." Beta said.

Diana heaved, curling her hands when she heard that the Alpha was in bed with other slaves. Trying to control her feelings, she cleared her throat.

"So? What then are we waiting for?" And asked beta again.

She felt it when his hands touched her hair seductively, then came down to her ears. As he leaned closer to her in a seductive manner, Diana was then sure of what he was trying to do.

"Stop it." She said hoarsely, sliding her face sideways in order to prevent what he wanted to do from happening.

Was he just trying to kiss her? She asked herself, before giving him a death glare that made him immediately stand upright.

"What are you trying to do?" She asked.

"Nothing. I just find you beautiful, and special. It's only right for a man to appreciate a beauty when he sees one." Beta said.

Diana clicked her tongue while trying to digest what he just said. At least, he is the only one who finds her attractive in the mansion.

"But this isn't right. I've only known you for a few hours, and for a fact that I don't know anything about you, I can't let you lay even a finger on me." Diana started.

"If you want to appreciate my beauty, and the fact that you see me as someone special, then do so with words, and not by flirting with me." Diana continued, so sharply, that it made him a bit scared.

He nodded.

"If that is understood, can we be on our way now?" Diana asked, flickering her brows.

"Yes, sorry about that Diana. I really meant no harm." Beta said, in order to make her feel secure around him once again.

"As long as you understand, then I forgive you." Diana replied and then stood up from the bed.

"Follow me, I know a secret way for an escape." He said when Diana stood up.

Diana nodded, and then trailed behind him. Before she exited the room, she turned to give it one last look.

A tear nearly fell off her eyes, and for a quick second, she wanted to retreat back and stay.

But, it was already too late. To Diana, it was either now, or never.
