Chapter 12

Lucian

I kept stealing glances at Adira.

We had been out camping for a good few hours now. The sun was starting to set.

And Adira was still trying to get her freaking tent set up.

"So, I told her to get the fuck out," Vivian said and chuckled. I had not listened to what she had been saying since, I quickly faked a laughter so she wouldn't feel offended.

"I know right?" She laughed too.

"I don't know if I should feel concerned or insulted that it's taking this lady this long." Nate whispered to me. I chuckled.

"This is sad." Leo whispered to the two of us.

It looked like he was going to be the first to break as he looked like he pitied her. I wanted to go over to help her, but I was trapped here with Vivian.

I heard Adira wince and I looked over to see that she had cut her hand. Leo immediately stood up and made his way towards her.

Adira's face lit up when she realized someone was actually coming to her rescue. I wasn't surprised it was Leo.
