Laila's POV

"I really want to work honey, I can't stay at home everyday doing nothing.." I retorted

Chris just stopped me from working some days ago and I can't cope with that

"Really?" He argued

"Please Honey, don't push this further, please." I pleaded and he sighed

"Have you checked yourself recently? Did you noticed anything?" He asked and I shrugged

"Blah, lame excuses." Sapphire said

"No, all I know is that I can't stay here doing nothing all day." I argued

"Mum, what's going on here?" Liam asked as he hugged me from behind

"That's our boy, aww, so handsome.." Sapphire purred and I smiled, he truly is handsome

Yeah, he's taller than me now. Sometimes, I forgot I had a kid here, but that won't stop me, besides it might be my opportunity as Chris listens to whatever Liam says

"Hey little man, how's school?" Chris asked as he rumpled Liam's hair

"Great dad, what's going on? You guys are acting like teenagers again." Liam chuckled and I can't help but giggle

He'd seen I and Chris in so many awkward positions

"Are you jealous?" Chris asked sitting close to him

"Nah.. She's yours, not mine." He individualized making Chris chuckled and side hugged him

"Really Liam?" I scoffed and he smirked

"I don't want to fight with dad over you, though you are pretty." He said and I smiled

"Yeah, I know, that's why your Dad won't let me go, but what's worst? He asked me to quit my job." I pouted and sighed, he smirked and rubbed my shoulder

"Come on mum, Dad wants the best for you." He stated

"Yeah, I mean, why would I let her work when she's pregnant?" Chris said earning a gasp from I and Liam

"Wait, what does he mean?" Sapphire gasped "are we pregnant Laila?" Sapphire bounced from excitement.

"Dad, are you kidding?" Liam asked with excitement

"Mum, are you pregnant?" He asked as he placed his hand on my tummy

"I'm..I'm surprised.." I said and frowned

"Okay honey, enough of your jokes..." I warned as I sat on Chris's laps

"I'm serious, I noticed some signs in you and I secretly carried out a test and discovered you're pregnant." He shrugged and rubbed my belly

"Wow Dad, this is good news mum, I'm gonna have a sister." Liam stated with a smirk

"Am I not a good doctor?" Chris boasted

"No, you're not, why didn't you tell me earlier?" I frowned and folded my arm

"Come on mum, Dad wanted to surprize us." Liam defended, yeah, he's always fond of defending his father

"Hm.. I'm not buying that," I said and stood up

"We'll have another baby soon Laila, I think we should quit working for now." Sapphire suggested

"Okay , I'll stop working you need to find a replacement." I noted and Chris nodded

"Yeah, I already did that." He said

"Chris!" I yelled

"What?" He asked shrugging

"You already found a replacement? You've already replaced me like you're firing me." I stood up and walked to the room

"Uh-oh, you need to apologize to Mum, Dad," I heard Liam whispered and I giggled.

"I'm so happy Laila, we're having another baby, Liam will have a sibling." Sapphire said with excitement and I chuckled. I love the thought of that, I'll be having a little princess here, she'll look like me right?

Liam's POV

I was glad, I'll have a sibling soon, I've always wanted a sister. I took off my shirt as I put on my black vest.

I picked up my phone and walked down the stairs to the Palace gym

"Um.. Master, good evening." Fella, one of the palace maids greeted, she's pretty though, I know how many times she tried to lure me to bed with her.

I ignored her, I entered the gym and wore my wireless headphone as I lifted the weight and used the treadmill.

In a flash, images of Lily at school flashed through my eyes, I knew she had a crush on me, but I just can't help but miss those days she used to try getting close to me

FLASHBACK

"Liam, Liam," Lily called

"What do you want Lily?" I asked and she shyly pinched her fingers nervously,

"she's cute." Jasper my wolf said

"I just wanted to give you this for your birthday." She said and gave me a necklace with my name on it

"What's this?" I asked as I glanced at the necklace

"It's okay if you don't want it, give it back." She angrily said and wanted to snatch it, I smirked wanting to taunt her a little, I'm enjoying seeing her sad but cute face.

I lifted the necklace a bit higher, she's shoter than I am so she jumped a little and fell on me, making me land on the floor while she's on top of me.

"Really Lily? I'm on the floor now and you're on top of me." I teased and she blushed hard

"I like that, make her blush more." Jasper stated and she immediately stood up and ran inside.

I can't help but watched her leave, my eyes fell on her perky ass, sexy and cute. I chuckled and stared at the necklace.

I sighed, why should my mind drift to Lily, she's not my type and to worsen it all, she's my Lab partner this year, yeah she's intelligent but I don't really like her.

The gym door was pushed open as Kenny entered with a frown and I smirked noticing her blushing cheeks.

"For fuck's sake kiddo, wear something better." She said and I chuckled, really?

"Come on Kenny, why should you care about what I wear?" I tsked and lifted the weight again

"What's up?" I asked

"I need your help." She stated and I frowned, Kenny never asked for anyone's help except mine.

"What happened?" I asked her

"I need to go to an important party at Silver moon pack." Kenny informed and I frowned, whenever she wants to escape she always comes to me for fucking help

"What the heck is wrong with you Kenny?" I asked and she shrugged sitting close to me as she pouted

"Liam, it's just a party, I'll be back by tomorrow morning."

"Please Kenny don't lure me into this shit." I warned, she wanted to touch me but I stood up and angrily walked to my room. "Fuck." I cursed, why is she so cussing?

"Come on we can help her." Jasper said

I got jasper when I was five. He's a honey brown wolf with dull light brown spots on his leg.

He's tall and huge, he's the best companion I had so far

I entered my room to see Tiana, she's Aunt Charlotte's daughter.

Mum and Dad wanted us to get along because they wanted her to be my chosen mate when I don't find my destined mate.

Hell, this girl irritates me, she's just so stubborn

"What are you doing in my room Tiana?" I asked angrily

"Hey Liam..." She blushed

I wore a jacket, not wanting to seduce a young teenager

"My mum visited so Luna said you should keep me.. Company." She strides towards me and I frowned

"I don't like her, she looks like a piece of shit." Jasper said

"I can't keep you company, I'm not a girl, you can go look for Kenny and Lily." I stated and she frowned

"I know you don't like me Liam, but I think I love you, I really do." She sobbed

"Shit!" I cursed

"Just stop, I hate women crying okay?" I informed her

"Why can't you see what I feel for you?" She asked and I sighed in annoyance

"You're still young for this Tiana." I stated

"I'm 14, soon I'll be a woman okay!" She yelled

"Stop yelling at me! I don't like you!" I warned angrily as Jasper growled

"Is that so?" She asked

"Yes." I replied her as she angrily left. I locked my door and sighed in relief...
