RAIN
"Why don't you worry about me for a second?" I yell out, getting out of his hold. He looks at me with concern and I snicker, as I drown the rest of the glass content.
"I think you have had enough. I am taking you back to the hotel."
I raise my eyebrow. "What? We just got here. I don't want to leave plus you have to mingle and stuff," I wave around and I try to stand up.
Oops, I think I have had a few too fast. I fall right back on the chair. That makes me giggle.
"I think it's best."
I look around and notice that we have eyes on us. "I am embarrassing you aren't I?" I whisper yell.
When I remember there is no need to whisper, I laugh. Everyone in this place has heightened senses. They would hear me gulp if they wanted to. Such a sense. It can be so invasive sometimes.
"I think it's best if we stick to our initial goal, of showing up and leaving immediately," Liam tells me and I notice he is looking around.
