RAIN
I am dressed in all white. Loose pants that flow freely around my ankles and an equally loose shirt. A crown of flowers is on my head, a bouquet held between my fingers.
As I take my first step into the forest, my bare feet crunching the dry leaves, I exhale slowly, a smile curling on my lips.
This is it.
I am becoming a Luna tonight, and it all looks like a dream. The ground is littered with petals, the moon is high on the sky shining down, and the trees sway gently as a breeze sweeps through.
My steps get confident the more I walk, knowing that he will be on the other end, waiting for me.
Three months later I am here, being officiated as the pack Luna. Three months after thinking my life was over before meeting the one person who changed everything I ever knew and gave me even more chances than I thought were possible.
A week ago, Liam gave me promise rings.
