Fifteen:

Akachi National High School

I woke up this morning with an unfinished business. Almos just pushed me away from my dream.

It was just annoying because my dream ended with a big question. Why does Almos have to explain to me when I have not yet asked about that matter?

Well, I wanted to know it but then, why is it that every time I want to be enlightened about Almos and me, I wake up from the dream and I completely forget what I should ask.

I let out a deep breath when someone suddenly flicked my forehead.

"Ouch!" I quickly massage my forehead. "What do you think you were doing, Chadd?!" I irritably asked him.

"You're spacing out so you don't even have time to watch my practice. I thought you would agree to accompany me until the end of my practice because you feel guilty because you are losing time for me, then you will do that? Now, I'm so upset."

Of course, I promised to be with him until the end of his practice but I can't forget what happened to Almos and me. Now, I am so guilty about it.

"I'm so sorry, Chaddy! It's because I didn't get enough sleep that's why I'm spacing out."

"Then, it is better if I take you home."

"No!" I quickly stop him when he was about to leave and firmly hold his hand. "I'm just fine so please, get back to practice and don't mind me. I'll be more active, I promise."

Chadd look at me longer before he let out a deep breath. "Alright, if that is what you said but promise me if you can no longer stay here, you may go first, okay?"

"Okay." I answered and smiled.

As I watched Chadd practice I couldn't help but think of Almos but I also immediately turned my mind back to Chadd as much as I could.

"Can't forget about me?"

Suddenly I heard his voice.

"Almos!" I quickly stand up and turned at my left only to find him standing there. "Wh-what are you doing here?" I asked then turned around to see if Chadd and the others see him.

"Nothing to worry, they do not see us."

"Us?"

"Yes us."

"How?"

"Half reality and half dream, we're at the between of it."

I'm amazed of what I've heard, and looking back at the court they look like they really don't see us that worries me.

"No! Chadd will get worry!" I said looking back at him.

"He sees you the same, look."

I turned around only to see Chadd looking at me with a smile and it seems he really can see me but how did that happen. I turned my gaze back to Almos and asked.

"How did that happen?"

"It was you who made this. You called me out of the blue."

"Call you? But I don't even know how I did that? Can you please help me to clear up my mind?"

Almos suddenly smiles that took my breath away. "You still don't know how to control your powers but you can use it without even knowing about it."

"Huh?" my forehead wrinkled because of what he said.

"No worries, soon you will finally learn to control it and use it freely. Now, I have to go."

"Wait!"

"Stop." He said that made me stop. "Nunc enim hic finis est, quod aliquem gravem ad te perturbare nolo."

"What did you say?" I was about to reach him when I saw Chadd running towards me.

"Are you still okay?" he asked and that was the time I notice that I'm still sitting at the bench.

"Oh, yeah! I'm ok--" my words was cut off when he suddenly hugs me. "Chadd?"

"I'm glad you were still here." he said that I don't understand. "Nolite ergo solliciti esse quod ego te numquam dimittam."

I was surprised at the language he used which I quickly pushes him to meet his eyes. "What was that language you said?" I quickly asked him.

"Huh?"

"The language you said, what was that?"

"Huh?" the confusion is written all over his face and for some reason he looks like he isn't lying. "Are you alright?"

"Ah… yeah! I'm fine!" I replied and whatever I heard from him, I am so sure, he doesn't remember it, but how?

What did just happen to him? What's happening to me?

On the other realm

"How long are you going to hide?"

He looks at her. "I am not hiding."

"Then what are you doing?"

"Nothing."

"I don't think so."

"Tell me, what is it?"

"Do you really think you can prevent their destiny?"

"Do you really think I cannot?"

She walks pass through him. "You became a Fallen Angel to save 'her' and now this is who you are. Do you really think you can still have her?"

"Yes, I can. No matter what it takes, I won't let her die just like before."

"Do you really think she will let you once she knows the whole truth?"

Silence and it took him long before he answered.

"Then, I will stop 'him' first before her memories returns."

She turned around to look back at him. "We don't know what will happen in the future, not even you. So whatever in your mind, please stop and let their destiny fulfill."

"I know but I can't. And you can never stop me."

I don't know but I feel that there are more mysteries to come in my way. As I continue to go through my dreams.

"You come again."

I turned around and this time I was no longer surprised by his sudden appearance.

"Where are we?" I asked as I look around.

"At the park."

"And why are we here?" I asked with astonishment.

"To stroll around."

"What?" he just shrugged. "Oh, okay! Then, don't tell me this is a date!" I joked.

"It's a date." He decided that surprised me and made me speechless.
