Unlike the distant, cold tone, the tone of the king carried an unusual warmth. "The lord did. His father had brought him back to the noble family and claimed him as his son." The queen chuckled, replying to her king, "we know that is not true." The queen lifted the goblet, slipping the stem between her middle and fourth finger spawning it with her palm and took a sip. Swallowing, she released most of the constraints on her body. This is something she should have done the first time the power had been first felt. She knew though that it would draw those who have no eyes or brain, therefore both the king and her king had waited until the familiar presence was felt nearby to do this.
