[A few hours have left. I'm with Sain's mother since he's out there preparing for her release papers.
Upon a second look, his mother doesn't look very old. I'm guessing she might be in her 30s. Sain is the same age as me. Does that mean his mother was a teenage mom? Considering her schizophrenia, could she had been raped?
I shake my head left and right. I shouldn't jump to conclusions without knowing anything.
She finally wakes up and glances at me.
"Uh! Should I call a doctor?" I panic. "Are you alright?"
She starts to sit up. I try to help her while still panicking. "Do you need something?"
She looks around.
"Sain isn't here. I'm his friend. I.." I take a step back. "Maybe I should call him and a doctor."
She grasps my wrist as I turn around.
Such a tight grip! "Yes?"
She pulls me closer and widens her eyes to the biggest. "Arms! Legs! Head! Body! Pieces! Cut! Cut! Here! Pieces! I..! I..!"
She starts to hyperventilate.
I'm scared! What should I do?! Her eyes! They are going to pop out!
"Ca.. calm down! I'll call someone! Its all okay." She doesn't let go of me. My hand is getting numb!
"Nononononononono!" She leaves heavy breaths. While I panic, Sain swiftly comes from behind and embraces her head, covering her mouth.
"Mom! Breathe from your nose! You need to come down! Let go of him!"
She starts to swing her arms around and grumble.
Anxious! I stare at them. "Ha.. hang on. I'll bring a doctor!"
"Yes, please!"
I take a step farther ahead when I see his mother shoving him into the wall. It was so hard that I clearly heard him hitting his head against the wall.
"Sain!" I didn't need to go to bring the doctor. Several hospital nurses, responding to her behaviour, rush in to stop her. I'm guessing they took time to gather enough nurses to stop her.
They pushed an injection into her skin, eventually calming her down. I witness all those with my own eyes.
Sain was going through much more trauma than we could imagine!
I rush to Sain and kneel down. Touching his shoulder I ask him. "Sain! Are you awake? Are you hurt?"
He rubs the back of his head and smiles. "I slightly hit the wall. Its going to be alright."
"Let me see." Says a nurse. "Is it bleeding?"
"No."
I'm ashamed. I hurt him while he struggles through this tough situation. I should have been of more help to him!
I grit my teeth in guilt and regret.]
I and Eclise bring mom outside on a wheelchair. The drug didn't wear off and she's still sleeping. I'm not allowed to keep her in the hospital since I already paid for her release. He hires a car for us.
"You don't need to worry about the fare." He says. "I'll pay for you this time."
"Thanks Eclise. For helping me."
"No. I should've done that much. We're friends after all."
I pull in a short breath as in happiness. "Yes. We're friends. Best friends!" We see each other off with smiles.
