Chapter 13

Asher grabbed Alicia's arm as he forcefully pulled away from the kiss, his emerald eyes gleamed with anger as he furiously pushed her away from him making the girl fall to her side. Tying his robe properly, he went downstairs with an attempt to catch the person that made noise in the kitchen.

His eyebrows furrowed when he didn't see a sign of someone in the kitchen, he checked the other rooms but they were as empty as if no one was there at all. His eyes narrowed as he made his way outside into the dark but still he couldn't find the person. The person was sure to have covered her smell that didn't allow him to punish her because now, Asher could tell there was a woman in the house with Alicia making his more angry that he couldn't figure out who it was.

Getting back to the mansion, he met Alicia's eyes that looked relieved and his frown deepened. Everyday for the thief and one day for the owner, patience Asher he said to himself as he glared at the girl who gulped petrified at her master's appearance.

His eyes had changed back to green and his nails were shorter than before.

"I'm sorry master, please punish me" Alicia begged as she dropped on her knees with her palms against each other.

"That's a given, the audacity of you to take advantage of me!" Asher spat furiously as he remembered what this lowly maid did, she had swiftly kissed his lips and had pressed her body against his.

"I'll do anything but please spare me" Alicia begged, although she didn't mean to do just anything in her mind, she just had to say it. But what if this master of hers took it wrongly and wanted to take advantage of her in return, there was no way she would let that happen.

"Yes I'm sure you will, come with me" He said as he made his way upstairs, Alicia glared at his back thinking that he wanted to lead her to his room and do nonsense with her but she was shocked when he passed his room to move forward to an eerie looking door.

"Get in" He ordered as he opened the door which released dust that made her cover her nose and Alicia gulped seeing the place as dark as midnight, there was no single lantern in there and she was sure she would get lost.

"Uhmm... could you please give me another option, this place is not happening" Muttered Alicia with a frown as she hesitated to enter the room. She turned to look at Asher who was throwing daggers at her through his gaze, she was sure that if his gaze could kill. She would be shattered in one million pieces. Seeing that this monster of a man wouldn't budge, she took a step into the room.

Asher closed the door shut as he turned his back, "You'll be sleeping here tonight, goodnight and sweet dreams" He spoke sarcastically as his lips twisted into a devilish smirk before walking away from the door.

"What?" Alicia shouted at the top of her voice after registering what he had said into her head, wouldn't she get out of here?, oh no what had she gotten herself into like this. Why was he even like this because of a kiss or wasn't that the reason why he threw her in here? Does that mean that every woman who had kissed him ended up here? Asked Alicia as her mind kept swirling with different questions she had no answer to.

As she was looking ahead of her when she felt something crossing her delicate feet 'What was that?' she felt like her heart had just jumped out if the ribcage as she realized it was a rat. Unknowingly to Alicia, she had stepped on a rope.

Alicia gasped when something grazed her left arm, thankfully it wasn't her precious face or she would have been done for. She hissed in pain as she covered her arm with her second hand, she could feel the liquid dripping down her arm and she guessed it was her blood because of the smell. She jumped to the back when she felt an arrow pass in front of her face, what was this place and what was contained in it she doesn't know but she knew it was dangerous staying here.

She walked back to the door thinking it would open but Asher ensured that it was secured tightly making sure that she wouldn't be able to escape here.

Not knowing what to do, she stood by the door as she tried controlling her breath which had turned erratic, this place was strange at a time it would look as if she was in the middle of the room and things would keep injuring her and at a time she would be safe staying by the door, where exactly was she.

Being the dark witch that she was, she used her magic to suppress the pain she felt in her body and also tried making light with her powers, the light that illuminated was unfortunately small but was still better than not being able to see anything, turning around, she could see a writing on the wall and when she moved closer to it she realized she was in a secret passage that has double door. 'Asher locked the first door, is it possible that the second door was unlocked' she asked herself.

Alicia made a decision to not stay by that door and look for the other door so she could escape this strange looking place, with the light in her hand she was able to see where the arrow was coming from so before it would fire the arrow at her, she picked a stone to block the source point.

Walking ahead again, she saw a large grater. what would have happened to her if she didn't have powers and had mistakenly ran to this place, she was sure her body would have been chopped off like carrots. Looking carefully at the grater who was promising a chopped off body, it stopped every five second bringing Alicia at an alert, so she counted up to five in her mind before somersaulting to the other side of the grater...

Meanwhile as she threw a flip to the other side, a strange looking animal was running towards her direction with full speed that Alicia wasn't aware of, when she met the creature's eyes, her brown eyes popped wide open as a loud shrill erupted from her throat, she brought her hand in front of her in an attempt to defend herself but it was too late... she could see the animal open it's large mouth wanting to swallow her up, Alicia closed her eyes praying that a miracle would happen and her master would change his mind and come save her from this doom...

Someone jumped in between them and used the sword to slash the animal into two as blood splattered everywhere, Alicia opened her eyes and was shocked to see blood, she was extremely shocked to see a pair of blue eyes watching her with worry etched in them.
