Alexandrian Empire

The vampires and humans has been at war for centuries up until both nations decided to seize the war. But when everyone thought it was over the vampires decided to attack the human kingdom taking the lives of many, turning the human princess into a maid at the vampire palace. Her life had taken a 360 degree turn either for the better or worse. She was now stuck as the personal maid of the dangerous and feared king of the vampires with no idea on how her life would go from here but she would have to survive Excerpt "Where do you think you are going?" She heard him ask. "I thought I was..." She trailed off when she turned to face him but was greeted by the sight of his naked self. Nova quickly looked away as her cheeks turned pink. "You are going to help me bathe, my darling maid." He said getting into the bathing tub filled with water and foam. "W- What?" She turned to look at him and was glad that he was already in the tub and was not standing naked infront of her. "I do not like to repeat my words. You should know that by now." He sighed. "Now come." "But, Mr. Dimitri never mentioned me helping you bathe, Your Highness." "You will be the first and only maid to wash my body, darling, and you should be happy about it." He looked at her with amusement in his dark blue eyes watching as she slowly came to stand before the bathtub he was in. Cover does not belong to me.

In The Carriage of a Stranger

Nova ran away from the castle with a heavy heart. She wondered if her father had a chance to save himself as well. Only the heavens knew how many times she had looked back with the hope that her father was somewhere behind her and each time, she felt the candle of hope in her heart diminishing.

Soon, Nova found her way out of the forest and she stopped to catch her breath. There was no village nearby so Nova was safe from the vampires. For now.

Now she was far away from her home and away from the forest, she could feel the pain from the deep injuries she sustained while at the forest. Her dress was ripped at some places exposing part of her skin to the cold weather and the blood from her wounds gushed out staining her dress.

Nova heard the sound of a gun shot and thinking that another vampire was close by she started to run again, gritting her teeth because of the injuries that hurt like hell. She turned behind her to check for any sign of a vampire who might possibly be close by, and as if luck was on her side, she spotted a carriage approaching.

She stopped running and started waving at the carriage hoping the rider would stop and help her out. Even though Nova did not know who was in the carriage, she was in desperate need of help and Nova knew she would not be able to go far if she was to run so she would rather try her luck with the carriage praying within herself that who ever was in it was not someone dangerous. Luckily, the carriage came to a stop infront of her.

"Milady, my master said you can get into the carriage." The coachman said as he opened the carriage door for her to enter.

"Are you sure?" Nova asked a bit skeptical. She did not even tell her reason for needing their help.

The coachman made a hand gesture for her to enter the carriage. She gave him one last glance before she entered and the door of carriage was immediately closed.

Nova made sure to sit away from the person in the carriage with her. She was not deaf for her to miss the coachman calling the occupant and owner of the carriage 'Master.' It was pointless though because if the man wanted to have his way with her he could try but it would be tough for him to do so because she was not going to sit back and let him.

Nova took a side glance at him wanting to see the man's face but because it was dark and the light of the moon which was peeking through the windows wasn't enough to see too clearly, she was only able to see the lower half of his face. And she had to admit, even though she could not fully see the face of the stranger — who has yet to talk to her since she entered the carriage — she knew that the man had gotten good genes.
