His mansion

Going up to my, I banged the door to my room locking myself in, looking out the window, with rain pouring and the sky gloomy just like the way i felt as of the moment.

 since the death of my dad,my mom has been flying all around for business, even though we had more than enough to fend for the family which dad left, or how she left her job in town to a job which requires her out of the house through the year.

 We have a week off from school it's my last month in high school before I go to college, she had promised to be around, coming home today she tells me this evening she is going for a colleagues wedding outside the country after not seeing her for five years .

 Now she suggests going to uncle Rays place for the week, I have been on my own for five years why the need, just go .

 'Why the need , I will as well just go '.

 I packed my bags the next morning, with no noise coming in the house 'guess my mom left already after coming home just yesterday' ,

 Dressing in a floral dress ,I head downstairs the next morning with my packages luggage.

 The door bell rings while I descend down the stairs .

 "I'm coming "I say out loud,'I don't think he heard me 'because the door bell keeps on ringing.

 I opened the door to see uncle Ray at the door step , he looked different.

 We had family gatherings every year on Christmas he hardly attends along with mom since died , i had met him a few times and every time he was as charming as always , tall with straight legs about 6 feet tall I guess,smooth shining black hair, nice shaped jaw, dark eyes , with thin lips sand well aligned brows wow skin like milk as that of a baby butts....

 "Amelia!!

"Amelia ....can you hear me ?"

 " oh hi uncle ray " she answers tucking her black hair behind my ears.

"hey dear are you ready? "

 "oh yeah I am let me lock the door"

 uncle ray helped me with my bags, putting the bags in the car boot he opens the passenger seat for Annabel

 'oh what a gentleman',

 I gets into the passenger's seat, he turns to get in, starting the car .

 "So Amelia how are you doing ?" he asked with his a small glance at Annabel he focused back on the road,

"All good " came my honest reply curt reply "

 "Okay so do your have plans on how you want to spend your summer" came his question.

 "I just want to enjoy the holiday" i replied with a smile on my face, 

 "And you're going to " he states softly .

 Lost In My Thoughts we reached out destination, and I am faced with one of the most beautiful house i have every seen, a beautiful garden three beautiful water fountain wow I see ducks soo cute, this house looks likes where a king resides damn...painted in white and golden edges with enormous pillars looking like a castle.

 "Nice house" I say,

 "what can I say I have nice tastes "he boasts with a smirk on his face

 "oh please mr show off" I said rolling my eyes,

 he chuckles "its something proud of baby girl".

 "let me get my bags "I

"Don't worry about that the maids will do that,oh he has maids how rich is this guy and mom never said anything about uncle ray being this rich and I only see him at Christmas gathering at grandpa's place.

 Entering into the house I see maids aligned waiting to greet my uncle at his arrival. Good morning sir they all say in unison, coming forward a elderly man in black suits welcomes me with a big smile on his face.

 Amelia this is mr thomas the head Butler,and everyone here goes the work of gardener, cleaners,

cooks,chief and mr marco my driver,which he sends me a friendly smile which I return.

 Hello everyone I say which they all bow down in unison saying welcome.

"Tell one of the maids to get Amelia's. bags while I take her to her room " uncle Ray informs mr thomas,

he replied bowing his head

 I can't seem to stop fascinating this house tall ceilings,still painted in white and little bit of gray ,white beautiful cushions ,a fire place near the TV set a glass door leading to the garden ,climbing up the stairs the with my uncle getting to the last floor and am already breathing heavily.

 He chuckles "maybe i should install an elevator for you since its giving you a lot of stress"

 trying to catch my breath I raise my hand to stop him " no it's fine I can use this as an exercise since I barely do any".

 "okay if you say so "he smiles at me,opening the door to his left we come to a room big as the apartment me and mom stays in,the room decorated in white and little bit of baby pink which doesn't stand out a lot,a big bed with beautiful throw pillows all over the bed, a walk in closet,bathroom a large as my room at moms place and a balcony with a nice view.

 " Do you like it"

"I must say mr show off you do have nice tastes " I say smiling at him,he laughs showing me his well aligned white set of teeths ,'oh gosh he's going to be the death of me'.

 "come downstairs to have breakfast once you're done am leaving for work,when am back I'll take you on a tour round the house" he says giving me a kiss on my forehead.

 I couldn't help the blush forming on my cheeks,finding the floor of the house interesting .....'hmm nice carpets',

 he chuckles "hmm Lia ?"

 "okay "I reply,

 "see you at dinner cupcake" he says closing the door behind him. After having my breakfast which felt like a meal for a King,

 'I couldn't possibly wait for my uncle to be back right? '

 well what's the harm I can go on a tour myself its not like I would get lost , even though it's a big place what could possibly go wrong.

 "On a tour" I say raising my fists to the air doing the superman pose.

 Going to the west wing up the stairs of the house I came across a movie theater,a gym,painting room,a library big as the one in school,a louge , I had come across four lounge now .

 I head to the last floor there was a study, a large bar and so many rooms, without count I went through different directions that I had lost my way ,a breathy chuckle escapes my lips well this isn't funny anymore.

 After so many attempts going through the routes to find the stairs, I find myself in an indoor pool,ohhh cool .

 Lia !? Amelia !

 ' i think I hear my name'

 uncle ray strolls in with his black pants trouser defining his tall straight white shirt with few buttons undone,

 "oh hey dear cupcake "he says

 "hi " you're back from work early I say,

 "yeah I closed from work early today and its just 2 hours more to go though "he says taking of his tie

 'I didn't know time has go so quick '

 "well I purposely came back early to accompany you on the tour I told you about but it seems like you have done that without my help,the normal Amelia way" he says with a smile.

 "Well I couldn't help it " I say shrugging my shoulders .

 "okay so I'm going to take my bath I will be down for dinner " he says leaving through the door.

 After dinner or let me say a feast , the table was covered with food till the end 'is this man trying to blow me up'.

 I sat in the living room watching one of my favorite cartoon 'SpongeBob' ,ray comes down from his study

 "Lia want to go for a swim "? he inquires looking at me intently.

"yeah sure"

 "okay go get changed meet me in the swimming area you know your way right "he asks ,

 " I guess …I will asks for directions from the workers if I don't get it, so I'll be there in five " I answered

 "Okay I'll be waiting" he responds ,

 I rummaged through my luggage for a proper swimming outfit thank God I brought a swimsuit.

 And Luckily for me I was able to find my way.
