Takeuchi walked through the hallway, his goal for now being to reach the public library.

Days had passed since his last conversation with Asaka, and the weight of her anger still gnawed at him.

He replayed their interactions countless times, searching for clues to her sudden coldness, but nothing made sense. The more he thought about it, the more confused he became.

Finally, unable to bear the isolation any longer, he changed his clothes and hurried to the library.

The idea had been circling in his mind for a while now, and today he would act on it.

The answer had to be out there somewhere, buried in the past.

He needed to understand her, and the key lay in the name he had overheard—Silvermoor Family.

Without saying much of a goodbye to Eva, who had sensed his frustration but knew not to pry, Takeuchi stepped outside to be greeted by the morning air.
