Alanor, The Lycan King's Prisoner [BL]

[COMPLETED || WARNING: MATURE CONTENT 21+ // this is the only warning for the book] "I'll see you in the next life, mother," the young boy said, his eyes swollen from crying for several days. ---- Exiled from Udrad after the public stoning of his parents, Alanor Wynter swore on his parents' graves, to bring the lycan kingdom to its knees. So he became the rogue they despised and the devil they all feared. He was a monster, but they had created him, and he was bad. Alanor was the kind of evil that no dictionary even had a description for yet. He had vowed against Udrad's peace until he got his revenge, and no one would stop him, not even the mate the fates had forced on him. After all, he didn't believe in the fated mates. Alanor believed in REVENGE.

Not A Morning Person

[GIDEON]

Acrod was a beautiful place in the morning, and that was undisputable. The sun was already up and the birds were doing their thing. The animals were other out in the fields or getting milked in the sheds.

The children were running around, giggling, happily, and everyone was already onto a new thing of the day. The servants were doing their chores, with smiles on their faces, something that couldn't be said for the workers in Udrad, or maybe they did that too.

As Gideon got outside of the castle, he knew this place was peaceful. he didn't need to find the history of Acrod to see whether these people were happy or not. no. All he just had to do was look at the servants.

They were doing their jobs so well, almost as if they loved it here.

King Cassius was loved by his people, that much was evident. Gideon couldn't sense fear off of anyone werewolf ran into, instead, they were polite, free, and courteous around him. And it wasn't the kind of courtesy they were told to exercise since Acrod had visitors.

This was their daily lives, and they were working without fear of being punished or the fear of having a dictator try to tell them what they needed to do. This place was beautiful and Gideon was thankful that king Cassius wasn't cruel to his people.

Given that he didn't know shit about this place, Gideon went to the servants.

"Good morning, ma'am. Could you please show me where the public taps are, I may need a wash" Gideon said, as politely as he could, to the older woman who was working the pavements. His mother had taught him to be kind to everyone irrespective of their positions in the social classes.

"Please go to the southern hallway you should find one there. Feel free to ask anyone there, they will guide— Oh Sire, my apologies. The king's visitors have their suites with all the requirements. My apologies sire," the woman said but Gideon just smiled at him in assurance.

"Don't worry ma'am. I just wanted to see the kingdom. I will go to the southern hallway, do have a lovely morning."

"You too, sire, and my apologies," the woman said to Gideon and he just smiled at him.

Gideon could tell the woman was scared, but she wasn't scared of Cassius, no.

This woman was scared of Gideon. Of course, the news had spread about him trying to kill the feared yet weirdly loved, lycan king, Since no one had ever tried that, they had assumed that he was immortal. Bt was he?

Gideon didn't mind the rumors. If anything, he just wanted to go back home.

To Greroth.

By mid-morning, everyone was awake and they had all assembled in the conference room as agreed the night before. Today was the day they would all be going back home and more importantly, they would be reviewing the new accords that King Cassius had drafted.

They ended to maintain order in the midlands, and if this accord was the one way to make sure they had at least a sliver of peace, then they would agree to it. Anything to ensure mothers didn't lose their chidren.

King Cassius had drafted the new accords overnight and they were to review them today, that way they would have to end the chaos with the beats and whatnot. This would save more lives and their soldiers would have to be disciplined.

No one ever predicted that all it would take for the whole supernatural world to practice humanity, was a lycan beast who cared about the kids? it was a test of fate, but it was also a lesson they would have to understand as time went by.

"Good morning" King Cassius greeted.

"Good morning, Cassius" they responded grouchily like they still needed that beauty sleep.

Ulrike looked like he still needed to get some sleep. Clearly, he wasn't a morning person. He looked ready to punch anyone who spoke any louder than they should have, but that was one of the downside of being a supernatural.

Their hearing was intensified. But maybe Ulrike was just hoping they wouldn't be screaming or shouting at him because there was a high chance that he would throw the conference table in their faces.

Criselda looked lost and bored, almost like she wanted to clear things and go back home. Being away from Greroth for a day and that too, to deal with Gideon and Eddison was hard enough. She needed a break from all this madness and no one could really blame her.

"Why did you wake us up this early," Zelina complained, though her face was showing something else. She looked like she needed this over and done with, as fast as possible because she had a whole different mission to get to.

She had a life away from these people and she needed to get back to it. However, that was also no excuse for the servant boys to come to her room and wake her up. if she was in her home, she would have smacked the shit out of the kids.

She wasn't evil, she just hated being woken up.

King Eddison just sat on his chair, carefully, his face full of worry, maybe because he was seated next to Gideon, the man who had tried to eliminate him just yesterday evening. He didn't g=feel safe and that was okay. This was a taste of what he put his people through anyway.

He looked like he was worried he would say something that would trigger the leaders of the midlands again, or maybe he was worried about Gideon of Greroth.

Eddison had never met a man who openly defied him. He had never met a man who couldn't give two shits about him being the king. It was crazy how Gideon looked like he didn't regret anything, and that if given the choice again, the witch would do worse to him.

That scared him.

Sure, they were here as leaders, but fr him, there was a threat that hung in the air, a threat he couldn't neutralize and he had learned that in one day. So all he had to do was to be cool and pretend like none of that shit happened yesterday, save for the beast part.

But then again, the beast was at the center of this madness.

But what if the beast was way too close to him?

Would he run?

Gideon looked like he had had the fun of his life, last night, as he casually stared at Delbert and Grant. It was almost like he knew something that all the people in this room didn't know about.

Of course, Delbert was still looking at him curiously, as if he wanted to know more about Gideon.

They should have been understanding each other, but maybe they were mates, right? That would explain a lot of things, especially how Gideon had acted out last night. But then again, with Gideon of Greroth, nothing was sure.

Waking up people who are not in the "morning person" category, is one of the ways to risk your lives haha
