Chapter 1

Suzuki Satoru also known as Momonga inside the DMMORPG Yggdrasil, the game was scheduled for a server shutdown and he had chosen to log in and stayed logged in until the servers were shut at midnight.

He had sent an invite to his friends and fellow players so that they could all enjoy the Last moments of Yggdrasil together but unfortunately, none of them showed up. Saddened by this Momonga spent his last hour on the game going around the halls Of Nazzarick, he felt a little ticked off by them and went into the treasury took all the money into his storage including all the treasures and world items they had every bit of it.

After having taken everything he went to the throne room, still a little angry he decided to call the staff of Ainz Ool Gown the guild weapon, he marveled at the staff and recalled the amount of time and effort it took to create such an item his friends went to great lengths for it which further fueled his anger which sparked him to want to mess with Tabula's creation though he didn't plan to go that far, he simply changed the part that Stated the guardian overseer was a slut and left it at that.

Another thing he decided to do while the staff of Ainz Ool gown was at his hand he decided to transform himself or his avatar into a  living being of course he wasn't willing to lose the advantages of being undead but he was curious, he sat there pondering how to keep his levels and power and stay an overlord whilst a different race.

There was a way he could accomplish this, by using a cash shop item called [wish upon a star] the item could satisfy his curiosity about whether or not it's possible to race change without losing your levels and keeping your items and skills. He pondered the idea of using a cash shop item for such a stupid reason.

"The servers are shutting down anyways might as well try"

With that thought in mind, he equipped a silver square ring with what looked to be shooting stars engraved on its top part. The ring fits perfectly on his Avatar's boney finger, raising his hand he cast the spell, the ring glowed a flash of blue light before a HUD appears in front of him.

He read the message before a holographic keyboard appeared for him to write what he wanted.

He considered what he wanted before he wrote, Since the game was shutting down he figured he'd get away with a few things. So he proceeded to write his request.

Once he was finished, the HUD closed and he received congratulations along with some digitali fireworks. The Transformation of his avatar wasn't all that impressive it simply lit up in bright lights before the light dimmed and in place was what looked to be a human avatar, he retained his levels along with everything else the only difference being he lost a cash shop item but the game was ending anyway so it didn't matter.

"hm not that much difference"

HE voiced out, the avatar did look like a rather tall human with pure white hair and blue eyes, he didn't note any difference aside from the fact that he was now he was vulnerable to mental debuffs but thanks to that his blunt force weakness were voided he was rather quite disappointed at the lack of significant change but that was inconsequential.

He then sat on the throne before calling Shalltear to the throne, since it was the last day he felt it fitting to thank her for the great help, he felt like he had to thank all the guardians but unfortunately time was short.

"Thank you Shalltear for your great services and you two Albedo your services as the overseer are greatly appreciated"

 Looking at the time He commanded the two to Stand close to each other and proceeded to embrace the two or at least try he could only have his arms around them simulating what looked like a hug.

As Momonga simulated what looked like a hug with his guild weapon at hand, there was suddenly a shift a feeling as if he was falling, the same feeling of falling one feels whenever they're in a dream that feeling only lasted a split second before the scent of perfume assaulted Momonga's nostrils.

His nostrils picked on two conflicting scents, one of the strawberries and one of lavender, his eyes were closed and he sniffed  the scents, he doesn't recall the VR headset smelling as such  he recalled it smelling more like a metallic substance, however before he could further think about it he felt his arms were touching the shoulders of someone  and similarly his torso was being squeezed

Opening his eyes,  His eyes were met with a forest, and a grassy plane, before the confusion coils settled in he quickly directed his attention to the person or rather persons in his embrace, pulling apart from between the two people's heads he looked at who they were

"My lord if you wish to be intimate with us both perhaps-"

"Albedo? Shalltear?"

The sweet melodic voice of the woman was cut off, Momonga asked with the confusion having long settled in his mind, he could feel their touch, but that was impossible the VR technology had yet to go that far so it was impossible to touch the NPCs but he was touching them.

"Is Something the matter my lord"

"Yes My lord is there a problem"

'their mouths are moving  impossible!!"

Not only their eyes but both of them had expressions of worry written on their faces, Yggdrasil could mimic a few expressions like a smile and a frown but the way their brows furrowed and the quivering in their lips their eyes showed clear signs that tears were ready to trickle down their cheeks.

"NO, nothing is wrong where are we?"

He questioned, The two started to look around as well as he did but while they simply shook their head in different directions with confusion on their faces Momonga was looking around while also appreciating nature. The sun that shined was brighter than he'd ever seen, unobscured by any dark clouds, he took a whiff the air was fresh, and his nostrils hurt slightly while taking in the Cold air something he had never experienced before, as a child he once took of his mask as a sort of childish endeavor to smell the air without the mask but that causes him to cough furiously and had to put it back on quickly.

The air he was smelling was fresh it had no smog that was dangerous to the lungs and health, his nose sucked the air as if it was a limited thing filling his lungs with fresh-tasting oxygen that his body absorbed.

He saw trees and trees, trees everywhere the greenery was magnificent he had never seen the vibrant colors of trees before, the green was striking, he recalled his friend Blue planet a Man obsessed with nature, he knew the man would love the scenery.

Momonga was pulled out of his trance by the sound of the two women equipping their armor, Shalltear equipped her Valkyrie armor and Albedo her full Body dark armor, they both stood at his side determined to protect their master.

"An enemy?!"

Momonga gained his vigilance and stood at attention holding the staff another thing that confused him is If the staff was here the guild should be here as well after all the staff is connected to the guild.

"No Milord just vigilance, we aren't in Nazzarick  somehow we're transported to an unknown location."

Albedo answered underneath her helmet, her tone was serious, she had no idea how she got here and the Supreme one also had no idea it only made sense that she would be vigilant and be at the ready. Prepared for any enemy with Shalltear things would be easier, Albedo has a tank build while Shalltear was the vanguard and Momonga a caster.

"Good be ready for everything,   I'll cast wide area detection magic to be sure"

Ainz Placed the staff into his inventory before casting the spell [detect hidden enemies] and following up with the spell [Detect the living]

The [Detected hidden enemies] showed no reactions there weren't any Enemies within 10 km but his follow-up spell detected several Animals and what he thinks to be a village a little ways from his position.

"There are no enemies nearby but there are several creatures  and animals, they aren't hostile but keep your guard up."

He instructed, feeling a little relief, his two servants eased up a little before turning to look at him for answers, they seem as confused as he was.

"it seems we've been teleported away from Nazzarick, not only that but I can't directly teleport to Nazzarick  with the ring of Ainz Ool Gown I should be able to get there in an instant"

The fact the he was forcefully pulled out from the tomb meant whoever cast the spell must have the means to disconnect The guild from the guild weapon but there were no players capable of doing that not only that but the devs didn't allow guild weapon to be outside the guild as most were completely broken so they had to limit their usage to only inside the guild.

Since the guild was disconnected from the guild weapon it meant he cannot connect teleport to Nazzarick by any means and he was completely stranded.

But the game was shutting down, how is he still in his Avatar? Not only that but there is no such technology that could replicate the sensation of touch at least not yet so what is this, what was happening?!

"So then we  are stranded, Milord?"

Shalltear questioned, she didn't unequip her armor but stayed vigilant while her eyes searched everywhere for any Enemy.

"that would seem to be the case,  [create fortress] "

Ainz cast a 5th tier spell and a splendid fortress castle sprung up from the ground complete with its one low-level undead soldiers and guards.

"for now let's try and asses the situation, come"

He commanded, as he turned and walked towards the fortress, the two followed behind, slowly but steady, making sure there were no sudden ambushes.
