"Si Shui has returned!" Hai Ba told Gu Shi as soon as Gu Shi and Xie Chen returned to the Afterlife Department and brought the injured grim reapers, along with Jiu Ye and Bai Wu who were similarly injured, to the infirmary.
Gu Shi's eyes instantly narrowed. "How is he?" he asked. He already noticed that Hai Ba's expression is not right when he reported about Si Shui's return.
"Si Shui… he has been silent since his return." Hai Ba answered.
Gu Shi's eyes widened in surprise. "He became mentally unstable?" he asked.
"Likely." Hai Ba answered with a sigh.
"Has Ruan Yu already checked his soul's state?" Gu Shi asked as they walked towards Si Shui's bed.
Si Shui, as Hai Ba said, is just silently sitting on his bed with his face looking blank.
