Chapter 7

"Who are you Ashton's maid?!" shouted a woman behind me while I was cooking breakfast.

"I'm not a helper here, my husband is the one you're flirting with" I calmly told her but I was startled from my cooking when she suddenly tweaked me.

"What wife, how dare you bitch, I'm the girlfriend and will be Ashton's wife, not you rag!" she shouted in the middle of our adjustment.

"How dare you too you don't know you are flirting and fighting now maybe you want me to put you in jail!" I continued while we were still tweaking, I couldn't bear the pain of the pan burning in me earlier.

We heard that Ashton was coming down, she immediately let go and pretended to sit on the floor, so I was with her, and I was on top of him, I got a big slap from Ashton when I saw how we were.

"You are too thick a woman to hurt my girlfriend, is that what you learned, you are just a maid here your stupid girl look what you have done to her!" Ashton shouted at me and looked at me evilly.

"What happened babe tell me". He asked the woman worriedly while I was holding back the tears I wanted to release earlier.

"I just asked her what you think of her and then she said she's your husband and then she said I'm a hooker, she suddenly grabbed me Ashton I'm so scared to her she's creepy" she said while hugging Ashton, I just straightened myself up I suddenly pulled up because Ashton is pulling my hair. 

"Don't you dare try to hurt her again or else I will sue you, you are not entitled to this because you are only a maid!" he said angrily as he threw my face on the floor.

I couldn't stop my tears, I couldn't feel the pain in my body because my heart was hurt too much now. My whole being was numb because of what happened.

"Are you alright babe let's go to the hospital maybe you're sick" I heard Ashton worry about his woman.

"I'm fine babe let's go I don't want to see that girl again, she's so delusional, she's just a maid" he said artfully and grinned at me.

I didn't know that I'm a maid now not the wife

I heard the sound of their car.

I was here in the room getting treatment when Cleia suddenly called to ask how I was. I said that I was fine. I didn't want to worry Cleia because her work might be affected. Then Nyko called me back home and said that I was excited because I wanted to go again. he can bond because he is my only friend here in the subdivision.

It's sad but I'm happy, it's a good thing he left Queen for me, somehow, I have a problem sometimes I miss talking to him often even joking.

It's hard for me to stand up when someone rings the doorbell.

Nyko.

"H-" I interrupted his greeting as I immediately hugged him.

"Nyko, I miss talking to you especially your jokes" I said crying because I know I have a lot to talk about with him, but he just looks at me seriously.

"What happened to you?" when he worries and looks at my body with bruises and burns.

"Come on, let's treat them? Where's your medicine?" I sat him down in the living room before giving him the medicine.

Nyko and I talked while he was treating me. It's envious because he and his girlfriend are happy while I'm just struggling with my married life.

Suddenly the main door opened, and we turned to Ashton while the girl was clinging to his arm.

Ashton immediately stared at Nyko's hand treating my bruises and burns.

"Nyko, thank you very much, I'm fine, I'll leave you for now, I'm just going to cook, but it's still early, you're here, you'll eat too" I smiled at him before going to the kitchen and thinking that I'm just going to cook adobo, then I heard the two of them go upstairs.

"That smells so good, Trin, I want to eat it," said Nyko, who was behind me.

"I'll serve Trin, I know you're tired and we haven't even finished treating your wounds" he promised worriedly and started to get what we would use for food.

"I'm fine, but thank you, it's still a bit painful, especially the scratches" I promised him with a smile, and he immediately left to serve, I didn't notice that Ashton was right behind him.

"How dare you? You're going to feed your man in my house, you're not ashamed anymore" he said angrily but I didn't look at him.

"Why don't you answer, do you want to get hurt, huh!?" he promised and held my hand tightly because he was trying to make me face him.

"I just want to say thank you to the person and if what you spent on his food is what you did here, let me pay you back along with Nyko's step on your house" I answered him straight away and poured the dish into the bowl.

"You're flirting, you're not satisfied with me anymore" he said annoyed and glared at me.

"Don't hurt me again maid I'm doing nothing to you" I just sighed and prepared the food together now that we are eating together every time, I look at Ashton the blade of his gaze is on me meanwhile I can't help but be hurt because now he and the girl are touching each other.

"Trin, your cooking is really good, I'm falling in love" Nyko hissed which made me laugh.

"Silly, I don't have any money" Ashton gasped, so we turned around when Ashton's woman suddenly intervened.

"Well I'm a better cook than maid Trin whatever is your name right babe?" Ashton just nodded but kept his eyes on Nyko and me.

I winced and finished eating.

We are leaving now because we have finished eating.

Nyko's incessant talking eased the sadness I was feeling a little.

I just smiled while washing.

"Your husband is rude like he wants to kill me alive" I just laughed at Nyko, he was wiping the table while I was washing up.

"I'm flirting with you he thinks, might your girlfriend strangles me" he just laughed and continued the teasing.

"Goodnight Trin, your wound, I'll check it again tomorrow, goodnight again" he waved while carrying Queen. I also went in to rest but I was surprised because Ashton was at the main door and was glaring at me.

I was about to go to bed when he suddenly grabbed me by my arm.

It still hurts because of what I got from him earlier. I don't look at him because I'm tired especially my heart.

"So that guy has a girlfriend?" he asked me to which I just nodded in response.

I was about to leave his grip, but he suddenly reached out and hugged me.

"I'm sorry" he whispered softly which surprised me because it was the first time, he apologized to me.

I'm already here in the room, I still can't sleep because of what he said earlier, after he apologized, he let go of the hug and went upstairs.

I went downstairs to drink milk so I could fall asleep when Cleia suddenly chatted about how I was and if anything had happened to us.

I just shook my head and replied on her.

I also fell asleep after we chatted...
