"Right?" David's voice rose. Two hands grabbed July's waist and lifted her up until July stood up. "Say!"
"Huh, why are you yelling at me!" snorted July. "I'm the one you're mad at."
"Ok!" shrieked David. Why is it even July that sulks? David was confused.
"Who's scolding you, hm?" David took July's hand. "I just don't want you to misunderstand."
"What a misunderstanding?" snapped July. Her feet stomped repeatedly.
"Why is she?" mumbled David. "Calm down…" then David gently rubbed the back of July's palm.
July immediately dismissed. "You scolded me! Huh!" July snorted, then folded her arms and turned her back to David.
"Forgive me. I will not repeat it again." David raised two fingers even though July was still looking away. "Promise." David reassured me.
Slowly, July turned around. "Promise?" July stuck out her little finger and David grabbed it with his own little finger.
"I promise."
