Chapter 14+ Misty labyrinth 2

Continuation

West part of the labyrinth

Genevieve wakes up to see that her and Remi separated from the others in another part of the labyrinth.

Remi's shoulders are bleeding and he seems unable to move his arms, she takes a closer look, and sees numerous holes on each shoulder, some were healing slower than others.

Remi takes notice of her and walks forward as his hands sway like noodles.

"Hey since your awake now, what the hell's wrong with you?!" Remi asked with fury in his eyes.

"I... I'm going to be the next monarch of the amazons like my mom..... Seeing them brutalized like that...." Genevieve spoke with a heavy heart.

"I joined you guys so that I could prove myself to the others and this is my first step,but I lost to anger..."

Remi's face got closer to her face which was turning red and he.....

'bammm!' gives her a headbutt.

"Ouchhhhhhh!" The blonde girl cried out with tears in her eyes.

"You freaking idiot! So is that the reason you almost got us killed! And here I thought I was the angry one!" Remi continued to insult her.

"You're on a team now, instead of dragging us along the dirt in your path, how about we walk together towards that goal" Remi managed to calm himself.

Seeing someone else cursed to be angry calm down just to tell her this made Genevieve feel uneasy, she also calmed down and decided to listen to him.

"Now use your light magic to burn a hole in this maze!" Remi ordered.

"Got it sir!" Genevieve answer and both of her hands glowed white as he put them on the shrub wall 'bsssssttt' a hole opened up into the next segment.

"Let's go find the others quick" Genevieve said she wanted to make it up to them as well.

Center labyrinth

The monsterous Audrey of the Aris cult walked around casually in her perfect evolution form, a frog like state that increases her abilities ten fold.

"Where are you? Hmemememe!" Audrey laughed as she wiggled her long tongue in the air.

She was looking for the remaining 2 members of the Wrath party who managed to stay in the central area of the labyrinth.

Hiding in plane sight we're Valerie on Edward's back however Audrey was completely oblivious to this why?....

{Soundless!} Valerie said in her mind as she held her breath, this magic spell allows her to suck up all the sound around her like a vacuum and prevent others from noticing her existence, as long as she held her breath she was a ghost.

Holding on to Edward gave him the same ghostly powers of being unnoticed which he took advantage of.

{Air wall} he created a small wall of air in his palm and left it floating in mid air, he had done this in several places, he then moved to another location and acted....

"Go!{Bullets}" He shouted but due to the effects of soundless he was unheard, a single mini air wall targeted Audrey like a missile and hit her left shoulder

'bamm!' "kaaa!" She yelled as she was moved a bit to the left.

"So there you are!" Audrey yelled ready to return the damage given she charged "Acid bubbles!" The frog creature shot out green bubbles from her mouth that melted the shrub hedge Edward was supposedly behind.

"What? Khaaaa!!!" She didn't even have to think as another air wall hit her back.

This continued for about 5 more times, Edward was slowly wearing her down in hopes of beating her, but..... 'tap tap tap' Valerie who was clinging on to his back tapped his shoulder three times.

He turned to see her face which was red as hell, she was at her limit.

Seeing this Edward had to change plans.(I just need one good hit!)

"{Air wall x 2}" Edward chanted as two rectangular forcefields formed around his right fist.

Edward then began running towards Audrey his foot steps still as slient as a grave.

Audrey didn't know what hit her until a sharp pain came from her left cheek....

{Reinforced Bash!} Edward gave her a haymaker right in the jaw sending her flying backwards

"Kuwhaaaaaaaaa!" Audrey cried as she flew away.

'gassssppppp!' Valerie gasps for air as soundless was disabled.

"That's that's" Edward then began running away again this time his foot steps weren't slient.

"You... Won't get away beluuuuuuuuu!" Audrey holding her left cheek shot out her long pink tongue which curled around Edward's left leg.

"Shit! Hiyahh!" "Huuuuhh!" Edward flings Valerie off his back and on to the grassy floor.

"Waaaaahhhhh!" He screams as the tongue retracts.

"Take this!" Hmemememe!" Audrey slams Edward's body in to the ground shattering the earth underneath him.

'Bammmmm!'

"Gaaahhh!" Edward screams as he feels the pain come from his back.

Valerie tries to use her scream, but her lungs are still gasping for air.

"I ain't done! you'll suffer for all the wounds you inflicted on my beautiful body! {Acid bubbles!}"  Audrey shot out more bubbles at Edward however.

"{Air....wall}" Edward used his left hand to make an air shield.

The bubbles disintegrated the portion of the wall they touched making it look like a slice of green/teal Swiss cheese.

"Pfft, what about if I go for this girl then beluuuuuuuuu!" She sends her tongue at Valerie however.

"[Heavy slam!]" An entire section of the labyrinth which housed the corpses uprooted by a blast of air, the blast manages to tear off a portion of Audrey's tongue as well.

"Gahhh! You demon!!!"Audrey points to the person responsible for the blast Remi.

"Sup froggy!" Remi jokes as Genevieve rushes to battle "now Genevieve burn the corpses"

"{Light needles!}" The blonde girl unleashes a barrage of sharp light made projectiles at the corpses and the frog as well.

"Riiiiii!!!" The frog dodges it by creating multiple branches to jump on,but couldn't stop the corpses from burning up.

"Sir Remi! We'll have to take care of all the vegetation here before we deal with her hopefully burning the corpses reduced the labyrinth's regeneration" Genevieve says to him.

"Alright lay it on me!" Remi turns his sword to her.

"{Flash Ray}" Genevieve shots out a beam of light that bends like a tread and gets absorbed by the Abara sword.

"[Abara sword style!]" Remi take the sword all the to his backside...

[Luminous whirl!] He spins the shimmering blade 360° causing a white rotating wave of light that destroys the entire section of the labyrinth and burns the shrubs.

"My precious labyrinth!!!" Audrey cried at the sight of pure destruction however....

"Where are you looking?!" Genevieve yells behind the frog creature.

"Amazon!!!!!" Audrey tries to grab her but it's too late.

{Heaven's net!} Another spell is used by Genevieve this one takes the shape of a net made by numerous treads of light, which grab Audrey and merciless drops her to the burnt floor.

Audrey humiliated and defeated reverts by to her human form and  passes out....

The labyrinth is burnt to the ground and and the burnt corpses are buried, Audrey is captured and questioned by the king's right hand man Victor.

Royal Castle

Meeting room

Victor is looking at all the information they could get from Audrey but it's not as much as they wanted.

"Nothing of interest except this Elixir she mentioned.....

Imagine a potion that gives people perfect evolution.... Intriguing yet terrifying in the hands of cultists" Victor spoke out loud.

"I already have pointy ears and sharp teeth, I'd kill myself if I became a goat monster as well" Remi added.

"Don't worry I'd rather it be destroyed, humans shouldn't have that kind of power it would only lead to madness like in the case of the deacon and the labyrinth keeper" Victor explained.

"On a happier note I'm proud of your efforts sir Remi, it seems the demon of Wrath is finally being useful to humanity" Victor smiles.

"Oh shut up, If I could go back in time I'd never let this thing into my body, I'm only glad today's victory didn't cost my team any casualties" Remi said his mind.

(Compassionate as well, interesting) Victor's smile grew.

"If any news about the Windlers comes up, am the guy for the job" Remi pointed at his chest and went through the door.

"I wonder.... What you'll do when you find them" Victor said intrigued.

Outside the castle was Genevieve and Valerie, while Edward was in Swampfort resting his injury.

"Spoils of war! Let's go buy tons of meat!" Valerie yelled as she held a bag of different coins their reward for the previous mission.

"Yah yah, you deserve that much for pulling off a new spell" Remi gave her a head Pat.

"Once again I'm sorry for how I acted I've never been on a team before that's why" Genevieve said sadly.

"Enough we're alive that's what matters, just don't do that again!" Remi yelled pointing his finger.

"Hai you can expect nothing but the best from the future Amazon monarch!" Genevieve cheered up quickly and took a pose pissing Remi off.

And thus another chapter ends what adventures await the wrath party tune in next time!
