✨ After Effect ✨

Season 1 Episode 6

The dust settles down as Jayden slowly gets up without his staff. He quickly looks around and sees it a little far from him as he tries to pull it to his side with his hand. The creature gets up and sees Jayden as it quickly throws a tentacle from a far distance and also holds the staff. It starts moving very fast towards Jayden as he's left still and afraid. The staff becomes longer as it's edges become replaced with two swords cutting it's tentacle off. The creature screams seeming more ready to slash Jayden apart as it increases it's speed with it's claws widely open. The staff gets to Jayden in it's normal state as he quickly boosts to the opposite direction of the creature. It quickly catches up with Jayden and jumps ready to make it's delicious slash. Jayden quickly throws the staff infront of him as a portal opens and enters. The portal quickly closes back as the creature misses it target and lands. It screams very loud and breathes heavily as it turns back and retreats using it's tentacles to quickly push itself even more faster with the help of the trees...

Jayden's regains consciousness as his eyes slowly open up. He tries to move and notices he's tied up to a tree with four old looking men infront of a campfire some metres away from his face. The old men laugh at their own silly jokes having a good time whiles he tries to set himself free. He groans loudly as the old men turn to look at him. "Hey!.. Look who's up?" one man asks as he quietly stares into their faces. " Having a little nap in the forest huh🤨? Didn't your parents tell you it's not safe coming to the forest alone. Let alone to take a nap" another says as they all burst into laughter. Jayden starts to shiver and notices the cold and foggy environment. He tries to set himself free again as he gives up upon trying and lowers his head. "You've got to stop trying, even the toughest of boars can't untie themselves nevertheless a common human". Jayden raises his head and starts to burn up inside infuriated by his words "....a common human..." . "Hey..I think we should head back.. it's getting colder out here, quite unusual.." They all get up and pick up their hunting's bags and weapons while Jayden angrily stares at them. They all pick up a piece of lighted firewood as the fire quenches immediately. The environment becomes more foggy and the old men start to get afraid. They all stand behind each other's backs looking in all directions with their hunting rifles pointing forward. Jayden's heart start to beat harder again and he notices something strange coming. He closes his eyes and tries to sense any offensive body and notices many coming from all directions. They all start to hear some "banshee" screaming sounds- like the "Dorocha" in merlin series. Some mist with faces-ghostlike spirits, start to fly around from many directions screaming and increasing more in number. The old men start to shoot at them but literally has no effect on them. "Use fire!" Jayden screams while they pay no attention to him and continue shooting. "Throw me the staff!" Jayden shouts trying to instruct them to bring him his staff. The ghostlike beings come closer and closer and absorbs the soul of one of the old men. The three left quickly start to run in different directions while screaming. One of the ghostlike beings start to fly towards Jayden and screams seeming hungry for his soul. Jayden starts to panic with his heart beating faster and faster. He looks into his palms and try to ignite fire with just a little fire dots sparkled in his palms. "Not now!! not now!!!!!" he screams exploding with a great fire wave affecting all the beings in that radius. All the weeds and trees in that radius get burnt up a little having their leaves dark and some as ashes. He hears the screams of one of the old men as he stretches his hand and calls for his staff. It guickly gets to his hand with a "whoop" sound as he quickly sprints for the men. He turns on his vision eye and scouts for the men seeing two already "soul drunk" to death. He finds the last one being chased by one ghostlike being as he heads towards his direction.

[The last old man running..]

"Save me!..save me!!! Mama!!" he screams whiles running. He starts to get exhausted and slows up as he eventually falls down. He stares at the thing coming approaching him as it starts to scream. "Is this my end🥺....is this...fate🥺..?" as he closes his eyes and waits for his death. Jayden quickly reaches his side and extinguishes the thing with his fire staff blowing some fire on the man. The man screams and covers his face with his palm as Jayden giggles a little. "huh?... I'm alive😁!!" he shouts sighting Jayden. The smile on his face slowly disappear as they both stare into their faces. "You saved me🥺...thank you" he says as he stands up and runs to hug Jayden. Jayden's feels more warmer as he remembers his father's hugs and slowly pushes the man away. He starts to walk away with his staff and the man runs to hold Jayden. "I'll take you wherever you want to go🥺, even to Eclipt woods if you like" the man says making Jayden stop his walk. "I... I'll give you a room in my house...it's a very big house...it's just northeast of here...please don't leave me here😩" he pleads as his head falls on Jayden's shoulder. "Jayden turns to look at him and remembers his mother telling him not to trust anyone who offers help. Jayden slowly brushes off his hand and continues walking as the man continues to plead with him while kneeling. "...it's just northeast of here.." it sounds again in his head. He thinks about his offer again and decides to accept this one hoping he'd find Lucas. "Take me to your house.." he says as the man raises his head and stands up. "Thank you..thank you.." bowing a little. "It's just this way" pointing deeper into the woods, "follow me" He leads the way as Jayden follows.....
