Thieves!!!!!

Finally, Olivia left for home from Arthur's office. So now only Arthur and Maria were present there. They both were sitting in his cabin. 

"I think we should go and meet Mishka. You know I didn't talk with her properly after that horrible incident." Maria said, looking at Arthur. He smiled and nodded. 

"Okay as you say." 

After working for half an hour both Maria and Arthur left for Mishka's home. As they reached her home, Mishka rang the bell. 

The door opened and the person opening the door was Ryan. 

"Hey.." Ryan said with a smile. 

"Hi..how are you??" Maria asked him. Arthur was standing there looking at them. 

"Alright  come inside." They both nodded and came inside. Arthur and Ryan both settled down. 

"Where is Mishka??" Maria asked. Ryan's face turned a bit hard and he said "well she is still hurt due to what those cruel people did with her. So she is resting." 

Arthur and Maria nodded. 

"Can I meet her once??" She asked. Ryan gave her a soft small smile and said "why not?? You can." 

They nodded and Maria said, "Okay you both talk I will go and meet her." 

Maria went inside to meet her and saw her sleeping peacefully. She didn't want to wake her up so she sat beside her for some time. 

'Why can't she live peacefully?? She is such a pure-hearted girl. Please god, don't hurt her more. And please don't let those people hurt her more.' she thought, sighing. After sitting with her for a little more time she finally got up to leave. 

She came out and saw Arthur and Ryan talking about business. She sat beside Arthur and let them talk. After some time they bid Ryan and left for Arthur's mansion. 

IN CAR- 

"So did you talk with Mishka??" Maria turned towards Arthur who was looking calm. She nodded negatively and said, "she was sleeping." 

"Hmm.." he hummed. 

The drive was silent and no one talked. Finally, they reached home and Arthur and Maria settled at the dining table. After some time even Olivia joined them. 

She smiled at both of them and they returned the smile. 

"So how is everything in the office Arthur??" Olivia asked Arthur. He smiled at her and said "Good. The company is doing well." 

"That's great to hear." Maria was hearing their talks but was lost in her thoughts. 

"And Maria, what about Mishka..your friend?? Is she okay now??" Maria came out of her thoughts hearing Olivia's voice. She smiled a little at her and said "she is better now but that incident has left a big mark on her mind. Today we went to meet her but she was sleeping." 

Olivia shook her head and said, "Poor child...no one should get such cruel parents." After that everyone had their dinner peacefully. 

IN MARIA AND ARTHUR'S ROOM- 

Both were now lying peacefully. Maria's head was on Arthur's chest while he was caressing her hair. Sleep was far from their eyes. Both of them were looking at the ceiling. 

"Today was a busy day..." Arthur said, stretching his left arm while his right arm was wrapped around her body. 

"Hmm..." Maria hummed but Arthur got to know she was lost in her thoughts. 

"Maria..." He called her but she didn't hear. 

" Maria.." this time he called her a bit loudly and she came out of her thoughts. She looked at him and said "Y..yeah sorry. I was lost in my thoughts.." 

He smiled and got up. He held her hand and made her sit too. She looked at him confused. 

" What happened?? I have been seeing you behaving like this since morning." She Hummed and said " I am feeling bad for Mishka. How can her parents be so cruel??" 

He sighed and nodded. Cupping her face he said very softly " you know we all are there for you." 

She nodded at her. 

"And she is especially lucky to get you as her friend. Then what is there to feel sad about? She will be okay. We all are here for her." 

Maria smiled at him and nodded. 

" Right??" 

" Yeah…" 

She smiled and hugged him. He hugged her back and kissed her temple. 

He made her lay and after giving her a light peck on her lips, he laid. When he saw that Maria was sleeping, he too decided to sleep. 

ON THE OTHER HAND- 

In a room, Rachel was sleeping peacefully. Anyone could say nothing is going on in her life by seeing her sleeping figure. 

She turned to the other side. 

Everything was going on peacefully when all of a sudden a loud voice boomed in the whole house. 

The voice of a siren!!

Rachel immediately opened her eyes and got up. She was about to get off her bed when all of a sudden some people came inside. 

"Hey who are you…." She got up but they pushed her down leading her to fall and hit her head on the edge of the bed. 

Those people started looting all the luxurious things. Before Rachel could move they immediately left from the window. 

"Help... help...someone please help..." She started shouting. 

But she wasn't able to get up. With a lot of difficulties, she finally got up and tried walking when she heard the sound of police cars. 

Downstairs, some police officers came inside the house and as they saw Rachel they immediately asked "who are you??" 

"Those thieves...Aah, they looted my house.. catch them..." She said with a lot of difficulties. 

They didn't know what to do with her so they decided to take her with them to the police station. They handcuffed her and took her to the police station. 

"Hey, where are you taking me??" She tried speaking but they didn't give a damn about her words and took her to the police station. 

"Give me your cell phone." They ordered her and she said, "why??" 

"Just do as we say." Saying this they snatched her mobile and took it with them. Olivia's contact was on top so they immediately called Olivia. 

On the other hand, Olivia was sleeping peacefully when her cell phone started ringing. She woke up and was shocked to see a call at midnight. 

She picked up the call. 

"Hello...who is this??" She asked. 

"Hello, Ms. Olivia. We are speaking from XYZ police station. Ms. Rachel is with us. And we want you to come to the police station." 

She was shocked to hear that Rachel was in the police station. 

'what has she done??' she thought and said "okay I am coming." She said and immediately got up. 

Changing into a simple dress she came outside the mansion and ordered the driver to drive towards the police station. She didn't want to disturb Maria and Arthur as she knew they were already tired of working and then looking after Mishka. 

She came to the police station and as she reached she was shocked to see Rachel all hurt. Her forehead had a dark bluish mark and her lips were bleeding. 

As Rachel saw Olivia she burst out crying. She ran towards her and hugged her tightly. 

"Aunt.. please help me...hiccup...they took everything." Olivia pushed her a little and said "how did this happen??" 

She asked caressing her bruises. Rachel told her everything...how those thieves barged Into her house and how she got hurt. Also how she landed at the police station. 

"Please aunt... please take me with you. Please, aunt, I beg you." She said hiccuping and she melted seeing Rachel's condition.

Sighing Olivia said "Okay sit down. Let me talk to the police officer." 

" No please don't leave me, aunt.." Rachel was crying humorously.

" Rachel I won't leave you, but I have to talk with the police officer. You sit here and I will be back." She said and made her sit. Nodding, she sat there. 

After that Olivia talked with the police officer and after signing some documents she took Rachel with her. 

As they reached the mansion she healed her wounds and made her sleep. After making her sleep she went to her room and lay on her bed. 

" Don't know how Arthur and Maria will be reacting, but whatever it is Rachel will live here now" She decided and slept after that.
