Forcing her

Ryan dragged Rachel out of the office and said ' Don't go against Maria Rachel, Arthur won't leave you and now you said those things. It's good that Maria is sensible and didn't mind or he would have ripped you apart don't you know Arthur?

Rachel sneered ' What can he do to me if he even dares to touch me I will say it to aunt' sneering she turned and left, Ryan looked at her leaving back and shook her head and thought ' You will have a bad end Rachel'

Inside the office,

Arthur looked at Maria whose face was completely red due to anger and he didn't know what he should say, he stood there silently looking at her not knowing what to say…

Maria looked up at him in anger and shouted ' Never show me your face ' saying she started to walk towards the door.

Arthur looked at her leaving and immediately went behind her and held her hand turning her to face him and he was about to say and Maria cut him off by asking ' Did you know that my touch didn't affect you?'

Arthur heard it and said ' Don't come in Rachel's words, she is tryin…'

Maria again cut him off saying ' Answer me yes or no'

Arthur looked into her eyes and nodded, 

Maria's eyes were blurred due to tears. She asked ' Was Giving me the job of an intern to bring me here near you?'

Arthur looked into her eyes without saying anything, tears came out of her eyes and Maria nodded and said ' I get it, you don't have to say it ' saying she turned but Arthur held her and Maria removed his hand and left...

Maria went back to her cabin and she was sobbing and then she thought of something and turned on her computer….

Arthur was throwing everything in the office and the receptionist was scared of the noises coming from inside but he didn't dare to go in and he called Ryan and Ryan hurriedly came and when he entered the office he was shocked to see everything broken and Arthur was breathing heavily his arm bleeding, Ryan went and asked 'What happend?'

Arthur shouted ' What can happen? She thinks I'm taking her advantage '

Ryan heard it and was shocked and said ' But in front of Rachel she said …' 

He was saying they saw the door open and Maria enter, Arthur looked at her red eyes and knew she might have been crying…

Maria entered and was shocked to see the office a mess and Arthur's arm bleeding, but she ignored her feelings and kept a distance between him and passed a paper to him.

Arthur looked at her and then the paper and asked ' What is that'

Maria said ' My resignation letter'

Arthur said ' Why are you doing this Maria? You know I love you, I ain't using you or anything, Give me a chance to explain it to you?'

Ryan said ' Maria I know hiring you as an intern was by our plan but it was just to keep you close to him and you know his feeling nothing else '

Maria ignored all this talk and placed the paper on the table and turned to leave…

Arthur looked at her and thought ' You have to stop her Arthur if she leaves you can't get her back stop her'

Suddenly Arthur says ' do you know the consequences of breaching the contract?'

Arthur said it closed his eyes and thought ' He never wanted to use it but she forced him and he can't let her leave him'

Maria turned and looked at him and asked ' Don't you dare to pressure me Arthur I ain't gonna be here anymore'

Arthur said ' Alright you can leave after paying the 10 million dollars as a penalty for breaking the contract'

Hearing it Maria was shocked and asked 'What nonsense? I ain't going to give you anything there is nothing such in our contract'

Arthur frowned and used his landline and said something…

After 2 mins the receptionist came in and was shocked to see the office like that but he did not dare say anything …

Arthur said ' Give the contract to her'

Maria took it and the Receptionist left…

Arthur said to read the last line of the contract...

Maria turned to the last page and saw 2 lines printed in very small font ' If the contract is broken by the B person he/she will have to pay an amount of 10 million dollars as a penalty for breaking the contract'

Reading it Maria was shocked and she looked at Arthur with tears in her eyes…

Arthur looked at her, seeing him with anger but he thought it better that you are angry and in front of me than somewhere else...

Arthur said ' So, you're gonna pay 10 million?'

Maria said ' This is a fraud'

Arthur sneered ' You had the document while signing you must have read it, it's not fraud it's yr negligence, now go back to your cabin and start your work'

Maria looked at him in shock and tears rolled out of her eyes and she turned and left….

Arthur sat down on his seat his eyes red, Ryan looked at him and said ' Weren't you a little cruel'

Arthur said ' I can't let her leave me, no, She became my life Ryan my life, when I see her I feel I am alive I never felt like this my whole life, the way she smiles and shyly bows her head makes my life more colourful so I did it I will calm her down she is angry and I know she should be, but I will bring her back'

Ryan smiled hearing and patted his shoulder and was leaving he heard ' Take care of Rachel, if we can't kill her we can cage her' Ryan wasn't shocked hearing it and nodded and left….

Rachel after making the mess was going back home and she was crossing an intersection when a car suddenly broke the red light and hit her car making her car rollover….

Did Arthur do the correct thing?

I guess Maria felt betrayed again so she wants to run away?
