Chapter 104 Event in the Sanctuary 4

After Kuune and her people in the upper echelons had gathered on one of the landing spots at the military's headquarter, they had been greeted by the presence of an unknown spacecraft where Kuune had mentioned to them that the spacecraft was known as the Ryo-Ohki, the legendary spacecraft which its appearance was hard to be seen by others.

As the Ryo-Ohki had landed on the ground, Kuune can see that the lower hatch of the Ryo-Ohki has been opened and two figures can be seen coming out from there.

One of those two figures is a tanned little girl with animal features on her body which she has a pair of long ears like a cabbit where it's an animal that combines both a cat and a rabbit. She has long white hair which extends until her back while at the center of her hair portions, she has brown hair colour. Her face has been framed by two bangs of her hair while being accompanied by a pair of adorable brown eyes. Her attire consists of a short-sleeved blouse where a yellow ribbon with a red gem had attached at the collar.

Another person is a bespectacled woman in a white uniform where she has short green hair and a pair of light green eyes. She has smile on her face as she walks beside the little girl as both of them descends from the hatch and walk towards Kuune and others.

"Nice to meet you, everyone...I'm Rea Masaki and the one beside me is Ryo-Ohki." Introduced the woman with the name of Rea Masaki as she also introduces Ryo-Ohki.

Rea extends her right hand for a handshake which Kuune returns her handshake while introduces herself, "Nice to meet you, Masaki-san. I'm Kuune, Prime Minister of Sanctuary. Without further ado, may I know what is it, your purpose for the sudden visit on our planet?"

"I'm sorry for my sudden arrival, Kuune-san. Our presence here because of Ryo-Ohki had founded the way to find her little brother back which is also my son where Ryo-Ohki had determined that your planet could help us with this." Said Rea as she apologised at first to avoid any dissatisfaction from the people on Kuune's side.

"Before we could talk longer, may I know how could Ryo-Ohki know about our planet's location as the last record of her sightings was 300 years ago which had been recorded by our past exploration team. Furthermore, I don't think that we had encountered her near our planet so sorry for my suspicion as I don't think that Ryo-Ohki could find our location easily." Said Kuune to Rea.

Kuune can see that Ryo-Ohki is talking to Rea but she is talking in the form of animal voices which Rea looks at her while nodding her head several times before Rea retracts her gaze on Ryo-Ohki and looking back at Kuune.

"Ryo-Ohki said that she could detect massive amount of energy has been used two weeks ago which she is the only one that could detect it while her master, Washu-sama also couldn't detect it. Therefore, she had decided to travel here as Washu-sama also had asked her to check from where that huge amount of energy had come from." Explained Rea at Kuune.

"Washu-sama?....Is that the legendary scientist who had researched a huge number of things which couldn't compare to anyone else in universes...that Washu-sama?" Asked Kuune while she has a bewildered expression on her face as she heard Washu's name.

"Yes, Kuune-san...the only one, Washu-sama, whose the one had created Ryo-Ohki." Confirmed Rea on Kuune's question.

"If the purpose of your visit here is to check the origin of that huge amount of energy you had found, what is the relationship between that energy and your mission to search your son, Rea-san?" Asked Kuune at Rea as she did not see the relationship between searching a person and the origin of the energy at their place.

"Oh...well, Kuune-san, it is like this....from Washu-sama's report...when that huge energy had been detected by Ryo-Ohki, Washu-sama had also detected massive distortion on dimension which had been occurred at the same place and on the same time as that huge energy had been released." Said Rea at Kuune.

"Washu-sama had mentioned that massive dimension distortion had occurred due to someone is trying to break the barrier of our dimension for interdimensional travel but they need to use a huge amount of force to break that barrier so she had assumed that someone has tried to use that moment to travel. I had used the same method to have my son travel to another world but we didn't have enough energy to cause another interdimensional travel so Ryo-Ohki had decided to come here as she has a feeling that you could make that interdimensional travel to happen." Continued Rea with her words.

"I, who the one had followed her here also want to make a wish where if you could let us use the method for the interdimensional travel if you have that or we could commission you for a mission to find my son." Said Rea about her wishes at Kuune.

"May I know what had happened to your son for you to request that wish, Rea-san? Well...if you don't feel offended with my inquiry." Said Rose at Rea.

"I'm sorry for my subordinate if she is being rude to you, Rea-san. However, we also want to know the truth as you see, Rea-san, we couldn't let any outsiders know about one of our top secrets which is the method in interdimensional travel." Said Kuune at Rea on her to tell the truth on the behalf of Sanctuary.

Rea nods her head to Kuune before she says, "It's fine, Kuune-san. I understand with your suspicion on both of us as I also will feel suspicious when meeting with a stranger."

"Thank you for your understanding, Rea-san." Said Kuune while she bows her head slightly.

After that, Rea told Kuune about the truth of her son where she originally had come from another world where she has received a mission to send her child that she had conceived with her partner in this world. She also told Kuune that she originally was one of the three genetically modified humans from her world which she had been sent to this world. Although she had sent her son to the world which she had came from due to her mission, she still feel worried with her son's situation so she had decided to come with Ryo-Ohki to the Sanctuary as Ryo-Ohki also want to meet her little brother again.

Listened to what Rea had told her, Kuune looks at Rea and says, "After I had listened to your story, Rea-san....I had decided to help you to find your son and I hope that you could keep a secret about what I will show you later."

"Thank you so much, Kuune-san. I really appreciate your help. Don't worry, Kuune-san, we will not say anything about any of your country's secrets to anyone." Said Rea as she feels grateful with Kuune's decision.

Later, Kuune had guided Rea and Ryo-Ohki to the place where the portal gate had been placed which had been handled by Ichika after Kuune had dismissed the others except for Rose and General Abrohams beside her.

After 15 minutes of traveling, Kuune has arrived at her designated location which she had entered that place with others behind her where she had found that Ichika was also present in that place.

"Hello, Ichika-chan...I'm lucky to meet you here. I want to introduce you to Rea Masaki-san and Ryo-Ohki where both of them are trying to ask for our favor by letting them use the portal gate that had been built by you and your team." Greeted Kuune at Ichika while introducing her guests and their purpose at Ichika.

"Yah, Kuune-san...nice to meet you...and your guests too. It's my pleasure to help our guests here especially the legendary Ryo-Ohki as I only heard about her from other people's tales." Said Ichika with a smile as she coming closer to Kuune and others.

Ichika looks closely at Ryo-Ohki that stood beside Rea which Ryo-Ohki just curiously looks at her back while tilting her head before Ichika takes a carrot out of nowhere into her hand and giving it to the Ryo-Ohki where she took the carrot immediately from Ichika's hand while she releasing cute animal sounds to Ichika that might be her effort to say thanks at Ichika.

Ichika rubs Ryo-Ohki's head after that which she just purring on Ichika's touch before Ichika looks at Rea and says, "Rea-san...I could let you use the portal gate but you might need to wait for a while as I need to recharge the gate first before we could use it."

"It's fine, Ichika-san. We could wait for that but may I ask you, how long that you might need to fill up that gate with the energy?" Said Rea before she asked Ichika about the gate.

"In my calculation, I need 4 days to fill up that gate but if you want to use the huge one, I might need two weeks for that." Said Ichika at Rea.

"You have the large version for that portal gate, Ichika-san?" Asked Rea while pointing to the gate that presented inside that place.

"Of course...but that gate has been placed at a different location due to its large size. I had created that type of gate because our planet might need to use it in the future...or that's what Ichijou-san had told me before." Said Ichika.

"Ichijou-san?" Said Rea with a questioning tone.

"Ah, I'm sorry, Rea-san...as I'm forgetting to tell you that our country actually had been lead by a person called Ichijou Kanda where he was our Supreme Commander after he had succeeded to release us from the tyrannical rule of the previous ruler. So, you can say that he is our planet's benefactor, and the idea to create this portal gate had been given by him." Said Kuune as she told Rea about Kanda.

"Ano...may I know where is it, this Supreme Commander of yours?" Asked Rea at Kuune.

Kuune scratches her head with her finger as she says, "Well...I'm sorry to say that he is currently in another world where he had told us that he has a mission to accomplish in that world."

"How do you know that he is in another world? Is it because you could contact him?" Asked Rea at Kuune.

"That's right, Rea-san. We could communicate with him due to the communication device that had been prepared earlier before his journey to another world. We usually contact him or the people that had been brought by him every two days. Therefore, I will talk with him about your situation today and I guarantee that he could help you later, Rea-san." Said Kuune to Rea.

After that, Kuune and others left that place as they leaving Ichika and her team in that place before Kuune had instructed her subordinates to escort Rea and Ryo-Ohki to their guest rooms while ensuring that her subordinates will take care of her guests carefully and respectfully.

Rea thanks Kuune for her hospitality which Kuune just said to her that this is their job to treat their guests with respect before Kuune left to her office and trying to contact with Kanda or Claris, whose the one that had been responsible to manage Kanda's work while he lived at the Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machineart.
